Hi everyone in here 😊, I am Zofia from Poland. I had posted some notes in Bidaai, pratigya, debate mansion etc 😆😃, but now in here.

I am currently in India and spend time watching those TV soaps sometimes.

I discuss the things with the Indians in here, and I felt that this serial had everyone so formal (inside their own family) and consistently leing to everyone and anyone! Why do much lie? ... So much formality? Always people are shivering from each other and leing and hiding!

Very difficult life I feel ...

Or maybe I just dont understand if it represents a culture

Hi,
I am Indian leaving abroad for last 30 years. I visit India at least once a year. I watch some of these shows with my relatives. I my self do not understand the life style which they show in these serial. Every day people live simple life. They do not dress up like they are going to the wedding. There is much more respect among family memebers.
India is progressing rapidly, It is sad to see how bad women are treated in these shows.
As a Indian, I know this culture and even I am confused.

it's all rubbish...there isn't a lack of communication b/w family members this way..nor do we keep secrets or lie so often (coz it's impossible..nobody is an idiot) ..but yes , i do relate to a few things coz of which i'm still holding on to this serial..sometimes i do feel ke this happened with me in more of less the same way....sometimes my mom in law also blames me for my hubby's mistakes..if he's eating more, then also it's my mistake , if he's eating less then also 🤣

I'm also Indian married to non-Indian and lving out of India.

I watch many of these serials when I have time due to homesickness. But frankly, all thse serials should be seen with a whole pack of salt, as sometimes its too incredible.

Some things, yes, like how could Akshara tell the Sneha story to G3, about her own husband, and many times, there's no need for your ma-in-law to know what happens in your marriage, but just because your living together they get to know.

My view over the years has shifted favorable towards a nuclear family - maybe that's coz I see first hand the difference, and maybe mu husband's culture being different.

most of the things shown in the serial are those to which we can relate.. akshara-gayitri spat in the starting of her marriage it highlighted the problem faced by a bride to adjust in a new environment.. it also highlighted a mother's insecurities with akshara's entry in her son's life.. or naitik wanting to spend more time with akshara..
it does represent a culture.. tha rajasthani culture.. but we have to keep this in mind that this is just a fiction show.. there are certain things which the creatives exaggerate and then show it.. just to provide the show with itz must-needed crispiness i believe..
lieing.. well.. little bit of lieing is always acceptable.. lyk when gayitri asks naitik-akshara why are they late.. they reply that they are stck in traffic... but again.. since this is just a show.. the creatives go overboard with certain things..
so best option is to keep in mind that this is just a serial.. and then watch it.. it wud provide you with more entertainment than when u watch it seriously..!!

It is mainly based on secrecy, lies, misunderstanding, serious communication gap, eaves dropping ... and fear

I dont think that is based on all that things, i think if based mostly on the respects to our elders that sometimes they cant understand some new situations that had never happen to them before cause they lived in different circumstances in other time or period.

Anyway this is a serial and everything shown on it is just fiction, that means that they show it just to entertain you and not to worry or upset anyone so just chill!!!!!😛

Hi Polki, the Indian relations being shown in YRKKH is pathetic. If you happen to be associated with any Indians who are different you will know.

In Poland there are some Indians and Bangladeshis ... I am sure you can get a feel from there that every human is different.

By the way welcome to India ... Poland is a beautiful country and so are its people.

i dnt think they are pathetic.. i see my mother and most of the tyms i feel ki she also went through same things.. yes.. exaggeration is always there.. the biggest example being akshara-moving-out-of-her-house track.. but.. in the starting.. it was a sensible track.. "trust".. the basic thing needed to make a relationship work out after "love".. yeah i agree that the end of the track was very wacky.. even we cudn't understand wat happened.. but still.. i guess it was sumthng to which every married woman cud relate to.. i mean not exactly.. but the gist of it..
yeh rishta is a gud watch.. far more descent and simple serial than compared to others.. no negativity around.. the way they portray some of the things is just how it happens in our day to day life..
for eg. that akshara taking the ghunghat thing.. and naitik not liking it.. even my mother takes ghunghat in front of my grandparents.. but my father says she shud not.. still she does because after all.. they are her in-laws and she has to do it since itz our culture.!!
just a basic example.. but.. wat i want to say is although sometyms a bit "unrealistic". but most of the tyms this is wat we relate to..

if everybody is SO nice then why so many misunderstandings? therez no reason actually..hence they resort to miscommunication, secrecy , fear etc. to run the serial...yes, it's a decent serial and it's quite different from the rest....but overall if we look at it, therez no plot 🥱 we have diff. reasons to watch it ..yes.....if naitik wasn't there, i wouldn't have started watching it in the first place..
