What do you feel is it right to leave your in laws house and live in a separate house with your husbands and kids.I am not saying to break all relationships with your in laws. You can give them respect, help them when necessary by living in a separate house also. Most of the times the daughter in laws are ill treated by their in laws. But if the couples leave in a separate house the girl can atleast have some independence. You know every couple needs a little privacy.Mainly in arranged marriage you need to spend time with your husbands more and more rather than dealing with your in laws.So I feel a couple can enjoy their life by living in a separate house and even they can have a sweet relation with their in laws.

atleast i agree . not every body has a maika & sasuraal as affluent as akshara , nor does everybody have in laws as sweet as her. i think at this age it is better to stay alone and support them .
and what about parents who have only daughters , what about varshas mother , she stays alone and independent .infact if shaurya has a duty to take care of his parents then varsha also has to support her mom

If sons have responsibilities towards their parents then daughters also have some responsibilities. So if we consider a girl not leaving with her in laws criminal then the same must be applied to the man.

I don't think it is a crime to live separately.

Shaurya just needs some breathing space, he probably felt all like bogged down in the Maheshwari house. Like he said, he wants to see his boundaries for himself and realise what life is like "on the other side".

I think this is sort of common, you only realise the value of something when it is gone, so I think this is what Shaurya has gone to do. Varsha has come with him to live separately to help him as a dutiful wife.

Anyways, back to it being a crime, no it isn't. It's just a really big shock for a joint family, who have always lived together and supported each other. They'll miss Shaurya and Varsha being there and Shaurya and Varsha will probably miss being in the house with loads of people.

P.S. I'm watching the UK episodes, Akshara just went to suprise her family when Varsha and Shaurya are about to leave and then she finds out. Plus I'm mainly talking about Shaurya and Varsha here. In real life, I think men and women should be treated equally, the daughters of a house have the same rights as the sons of the house etc.

😊
