so in cases like these the girl should decide whom she can marry. but DJ is a person of great pride and somewhat of conservative nature. his old beliefs wont let him even think of it.

Very good point Charu. I actually never thought of it that way. I think they're trying to show that Naitik needed a few reality checks to realize that Mohit is the right man for Nandini. His anger due to betrayal had taken over his head too heavily and so he just couldn't manage to think of Mohit before this.

right dear..but what they showed was ridiculous..a week back, naitik was asking akshara not to talk to mohit, he betrayed him etc. etc. he was very serious about finding a match for nandini and if some guy turned out to be good, the rishta wud have been fixed by now....but now suddenly he changed his mind and he's even fighting with daddaji for mohit..

instead of this useless drama of inviting some bewakoof guy home (God knows to prove WHAT) and then telling Daddaji that there is a sanskari guy and that's mohit, they cud have shown that mohit and naitik confront each other in Daman , Naitik realizes his mistake that he misunderstood mohit & nandini, and he turns in their favor for his sister's sake....

i guess RS and his team should resort to "over the top drama" and illogical twists (which he claims his TEAM is NOT doing) to bring yrkkh back on track..may be it'll work !
