Star Plus Back to the #1 Position

Star Plus is back with a bang, as it becomes the #1 GEC as per the latest ratings...

Star Plus is now again the #1 General Entertainment Channel, as per the latest ratings that have come out today!!

COLORS had earlier pushed Star Plus from its #1 position, and had been having an easy ride at the top for many weeks. But now, Star Plus is back with a bang as they top the GRP chart with 300 points, while COLORS takes the second position with GRP of 286. Zee TV is placed third with a GRP of 246.

The launches of the relatively new shows like Behenein Pratigya, coming from Spellbound Productions have really worked in Star Plus' favour. Rajan Shahi's Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and Sapna Babul Ka.. Bidaai have jumped up the ladder yet again in ratings, and this has made a big difference to the channel's GRP. Shows like Sajan Ghar Jaana Hain and Sabki Laadli Bebo have been consistent when it comes to ratings, and lot is now expected from their new launch Sasural Genda Phool.

As per the recent ratings, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai emerges as the #1 show across all channels, with an average rating of 7.1. Sapna Babul Ka Bidaai which had seen a drop in the last few months has again gained momentum, and has registered an average rating of 6.9. Behenein has an average of 3.4 and Pratigya has a rating of 3.3. Sabki Laadli Bebo has an average of 3.2, while Sajan Ghar Jaana Hai has garnered an average of 2.9.

When asked about regaining the #1 position again, Anupam Vasudev, Executive Vice-President, Marketing ' Star India PVT Ltd said, "We do not think that leadership is a weekly game, and are committed to consistently creating great content. Star Plus' no 1 show Yeh Rishta is getting into a maha episode which will see the re-union of Akshara and Naitik after months of misunderstanding.

An Indya source, "The show is now gearing up with the new chapter in the life of both Akshara and Naitik as after months of their separation they have realized how much they love each other. Similarly even both families – Singhania and Maheshwari have come together forgetting all their differences which had risen during the tensed relationship of Akshara and Naitik. Now, things will be fine on both ends as they will be happy to see Naitik and Akshara uniting."

We spoke to Karan Mehra aka Naitik who said, "I would tell that now the audience will find a different Naitik all together. He will now express his love and care to Akshara which he was unable to express earlier. I hope Yeh Rishta fans will love Naitik's new change behavior towards his wife."

So, after three months of high drama with lots of rona-dhona and Akshara's crying finally audience will see happiness in both the families.

Beetey Lamhe - Down Memory Lane

"NaKsh - Naitik Akshara Palace" was an Appreciation Thread created by -_AfridiMalik_- to discuss the beautiful Love❤️that Naitik and Akshara shared onscreen. The thread started to become less active day by day. Starry.phoenix took an initiative, tried to make it a rocking one but sadly no one seemed to be interested. Thanks to one member who became interested and helped her and then the journey of NaKsh: Ek Khoobsurat Rishta started where everyone discussed about their favourite jodi NaKsh. They started discussing their views after every day's episode and Archana_Naksh and nasco replied to each and every one of them. They celebrated the completion of every 50 pages, 100 and also150 pages.Completeing 50 pages was a great achievement for us at that time. Soon, NaKsh: Ek Khoobsoorat Rishta attracted more and more NaKsh lovers like VivaciousBhavya, joysorrow, Ananya_krish, manasi_31, Anjali4NaKsh, preksha_NaKsh, Apoorva_22 and diviu. Our day doesn't pass without talking to each other. We got glued to NaKsh, their love for each other; the chemistry they shared, the overall concept of love marriage touched their heart and soul. Every 5-6 days a new thread was created, then it was 3-4 days, then it was 2-3 days and now here we are with our 17th thread. Now, we are extremely glad that we have completed so many threads and we all have decided to again re-name it as NaKsh: Pyar Ek Duje Se Hai because even our NaKsh is not the same. They have grown mature and their love for each other has also increased. They are married now and share a completely different relationship. We all are one and are tightly bonded by the love of our cute and innocent NaKsh and we are blessed to have a place where we all meet, share our thoughts, views, laugh , cry n do all we wish and like to do. So, we would like to thank Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai and India-forums.
