reality- never the daughter fault

Don't you think this drama is so real its never the daughters fault. If you realize in yesterdays episode they were putting most of the blame on Akshara when they didn't really realize that it was really mohit and nandini's faults and how could nandini be so selfish she should've stepped in and said the i was the one that told Akshara not to tell anyone.
She just admitted it.

This is just sooo real the family feel that the bahu is the bad influence and not the daughter herself.

Parents don't take enough time to understand their children and that how they turn out doing something so secretive and when the truth comes out they looking for someone to blame except themselves.

What do ya say??

i completely agree with u this is what really happens parents try to put the blame on the third person instead of admitting that their child was wrong..........so that the society does not point fingures on their child.....

Completely agree with you.

But there is a reason for it. In most of the families, daughter's mistaken can be kept aside. but DIL's smallest mistake cannot be forgiven.

As the bahu's are expected to be more responsible. daughters can do anything in their home, but even when they also go to someone elses house, they also should act responsible.

But in this case, I think, Akshara was really at more fault than Nandini.

Akshara should have understand that her in-laws are not like her parents, who allowed (that too after so much problems) the love marriage of Shava. Singhania's are more arthrodox. They will never allow their daughter's love marriage and that too with a mis-matched person like Mohit.

Moreover, Nandini herself had taken her foot back twice, but Akshara had encouraged her to go ahead. And even taken her to meet Mohit without informing her.

this drama is NOT real it is bullshit....tht's another thing that hardly any family will react in a positive way to this news......this is not true that the blame is put on the bahu always..where akshara IS wrong, she will be blamed for it..She DID encourage nandini's affair with mohit, she's admitted that in front of Daddaji..she did it for whatever reason, that's her problem her perspective..and Nandini was equally blamed..and if everyone is ignoring Akshara, they will also ignore Nandini...

I think if DIL's have this preconceived notion that they will never be accepted in the new family, with that set mindset, she can never think positive....there r lot of liberties which r enjoyed by a bahu and which r not given to the daughter....parents can say anything to their children but they're careful when they have to say anything to their bahu (at least i experienced it) ....plz don't go by these serials bec. they always show extremes....a girl when she gets married, has to adjust a little bit , her husband also makes a lot of adjustments for her (bec. they have to share everything now) and so does the in laws....and it all depends on how well u can make a place for yourself


the imp. thing to learn here is that there is a limit of every relationship which should be kept in mind ALWAYS.....what u call "maryada ki seema" ....well Naitik maintainted tht limit and i liked it very much...he didn't say anything to nandin bec. she's his elder sister, and his cousin...nandini's parents have the right to say anything to her but not naitik..he couldn't have slapped her n said "khandan ke muh pe kaalik poth di etc. etc." ..akshara might think of nandini as her sister but she should have maintainted her limit when it came to making such an important decision of nandini's life...she should have stayed within her limits and this applies not only to DIL's but everybody whos living in a family.....as a DIL, i cannot tolerate interference on certain issues from my in laws ...i will never take a decision on behalf of my SIL bec. it's HER parents prerogative ONLY...I have unlimited rights on my life , my husband's life and my children's life, NOT anybody else..wahan i've set the limit.....Akshara is the clear cut culprit here, more than Nandini..Naitik was right...(although i dun support the way he told everyone)
