coming 2 the younger gen, I have ntg against Naitik & Shaurya's dressing...Naitik is shown as the cooler dude of the 2....I dont rem seeing Shaurya in T shirts at all 😕

here is where I think I disagree with a lot of u....Kaki & Varsha r wearing appropriate clothes for home...its Rajshri and G who r over dressed....and Akshara also needs 2 tone down...its been a while since she has been married now and its time for her to transition to some simpler sarees...

Good point about Shaurya...yeah he seems like he is always either going or coming from work 😕..or dressed for a festival...no downtime for him

when i said aksh will take pallu after marriage nobody believed me..ye lo dekh lo 😛 i find G and Rajshri appropriately dressed ..they can carry their saarees and jewellery with ease...Aksh is not wearing heavy jewellery but sometimes her saarees r yucks and then the way she drapes them is yuckier 🤢 ..does she have only type one blouse with all the saarees? tht pink saaree was a refreshing change

Varsha always wore simple saarees..very plain but bright colors..

frm amongst the females, I find Nandini the best..lookwise also and her suits are also good..most of the time..

Haan, yaar, subah subah I was inspired to write more about the dress sense of YR characters....I had already started a tangent discussion on Anu's other thread so why not continue here... 🤔 I like how both Rashmi and Nandini dress...very simple, but appropriate and beautiful...their hair and jewelry too is well styled...Vaise Nandini is the only one in the diamond merchant's house who wears diamonds (stud earrings)...

I also don't like Bhabhi Maa's dressing style.

Anu, yaar, sooo sorry about our digressions on that other thread...itni acchi topic thi....and we went from papitah ka churan to striped shirt analysis...but yes, Akshara to me looks like a nun in that dreaded pallu with B ma being mother superior (with her long sleeve blouse and completely covered head.) When Akshara first got married and was not comfortable with the way the sari was draped, her sari would billow around her (tent like effect as you said)...it was like she was wearing a nun's habit...i felt the desi version of The Sound of Music was on.. its slightly better now...but that pallu has got to go...

And some of her saris are way too heavy for her build and age...she looks like G ma's clone 🤢 sometimes...I like her in simpler, more elegant saris...

There is also a difference in the way the Singhania and Maheshwari women dress...G ma always looks like she is going to an event (wedding or something), while Rajshri, Varsha, Sunaina (she has the worst saris as someone else mentioned), and daadi are more appropriately dressed for the home...And seriously who wears heavy gold Banarasi and Kanjeevaram saris on a daily basis (that to with all the heavy duty kitchen work they do)?...Only mother superior...

Then for the men there is Vish's trademark shawls, daddaji's vests, RajB and kaka's Nehru suits, munna's rolled up buttoned down shirts, not to mention the infamous t-shirts...I do think Naitik needs pants with a slightly longer inseam...I think Shaurya dresses the best among the men...hopefully, in time, Naitik will wear more suits (or at least blazers) when going to work...that would be awesome!

Dont like akshara's dark gaudy sarees. she looked good only once after marriage with her light pink saree. she was good in suits.

I dont like varsha's hair style. her wig is too big for her head

Dhania has started wearing full sleved blouses after marriage. she doesnt look good.

I agree with all of you..ALl the females shuld wear simple sarees and like someone pointed out akshara always wears same kind of blouse..Even varsha's sarees are kind of grand and don't like the way she is draped.she looks like a teacher who is going out to teach....They should really toned down on their jewellary and wear simple sarees...
I find the dialogue very funny when they say ja jaake tayar ho jaa,they are always decked up as if they are going out,then why do it again....

All of them really need a good designer..The best dressed male is shauraya and mohit and females its rashmi and nandhini

I like the way Naitik and Shaurya's dress, they always look nice
