i agree that some relations are portrayed well. but on the whole the show is quite regressive. the main protagonist is ENCOURAGED to be submissive.She hardly ever does any constructive work either in the house or in a job. Being self sacrificing is portrayed as a virtue and bein ambitious is portrayed as a vice in women.I have asked a similar question in bidai forum. cos i genuinely want to try n understand why such shows have such a huge fan base
