Btw, Naitik is undoubtedly the silliest male lead on television so far! His immaturity and uncalled for tantrums are not at all endearing! He comes across as a juvenile deliquent who as rightly said, needed to be given some tight wacks while growing up!

Sure, we get angry with the ones that we love the most but there has to be a reason to be angry, right? He's behaving like a spoilt child who wanted to be the first one to buy a new toy and just because someone else saw (not even bought) the toy, he's sulking.....
And he doesn't seem to understand or appreciate relationships outside of his family. Didn't he fight with Mohit also? And didn't bother to call him back even for the wedding? It was his mom who got Mohit back.....so clearly as long as people do what Naitik wants he is a decent chap, otherwise they are to be discarded....hey, much rather be without such a guy than be with him! 😆
Marriage calls for maturity...I can see how well he's going to handle marital ups and down...poor Akshara!

I completely agree with everything that you wrote. I have been saying for quite sometime that Naitik is a strange depiction of a leading man in a show which supposedly highlights the beauty and sensitivity of relations and social customs in India.
If the purpose of the show is to instill fear nd misgiving about the concept of arranged marriage - then, BRAVO!. They are doing an excellent job. Who would want to marry a guy who shows open disenchantment, uncertainty and annoyance throughout the whole wedding ceremony. It's as if Akshara is forced down upon him and he has become the unhappiest guy on the planet.

Love doesn't change people! Love should not change people! The true meaning of love is accepting the one you love with all his or her faults and failings.
The thing with Naitik is that he is not a bad guy at all...but an exceedingly foolish one! And that is why more dangerous!
What is he so egoistic about?
He has no money of his own, he doens't work, he can't even get a job on his own, is cold and unresponsive to his own family (as and when it suits his purpose), is selfish and self-centred when it comes to his friends (very happily used Mohit when he wanted to meet Akshara and dumped him conviniently when he tried to question Naitik's behaviour) and has the brain size of a midget!
So what exactly is the guy crowing about?😆😆😆
He should thank his stars that he got a girl like Akshara agreed to marry a no-gooder like him! Tell me, in this time and age, which sensible girl would marry an unemployed man who acts like a tantrum throwing kindergarten kid?
Naitik is a realistic character, no doubt about it, but he is at the same time, super irritating! And I do wish to god that Rajan Shahi improves him real fast and real good post-marriage!

Beautifully put, Soapie👏
I believe all his churlish, arrogant and fractious behavior actually stems from the deepseated insecurity about his own self-worth.
A really baffling lead character, If I've ever seen one.

i agree with pinky35 that akshi's luv will change him after marriage and it already started working during that poem wala scene. Actually there isn't much to change about naitik except for his EXTREME possessiveness.

I agree, all through I have found hima weak, self centred and spoilt character...the man needs a strict disciplinarian nanny rather than a wife! 😆

I don't like writing about this character. She is that waste, but what to do, yesterday she pissed me off too much. Abhimaan deserves happiness,...
