Could not get any more ridiculous or ridiculously funny!!!😆 So awkward that the entire household sat down to see A learn to cook... my mistake, learn to make salad first.... of all things... salad first.😆 and decorate it well.... to cover up for poor cooking.😆😆😆

On a serious note, does anybody else think that if the N-A had the opportunity to make their own choices and live their lives, the wedding would go a lot smoother..... half of the time, the families are busy fulfilling society's expectations, and the other half, their own!!! Nobody cares to ask the bride and groom.

They could have saved money for chartered plane.
Aks could have continued studies.
Naitk could have gone for a job.
Naitik's kurta problems
Their engagement rings could have fit/liked the first time around....

ONLY if the people who were getting married had THE CHOICE to make their wedding preps. Arranged marriage ain't being portrayed as being rosy, is it?

And cooking😆😆 .... seeing aks so happy about learning to cook for naitak is inspiring to me learn to cook for whenever I get married, for myself of course.😆

well if you believe it or not but at my cousin marrige last year the ring which was suppsed to go to hthe groom did not fit.....

I said inspire because I can't cook😆, am willing to taste your cooking.

Was your cousin's marriage arranged? If not, did the bride-groom not select the ring together?😊

here in yrkkh it was not possible tht they select the rings ..max they cud have done is select the rings for each other...and now they've made up for it so..arranged marriage is not tht bad? :D

Hmm, I knew there was a reason I am for nuclear families. I guess the extended family is getting affected by their decisions; but to have to fight/argue for your ambitions/aspirations/happiness with your own family does not make sense to me. Not at all. Especially when the reason is education and employment.
