Is there any end in sight for Rajshri's Nautanki?

So the reason for Akshara getting rejected has been cited as her interest in making singing a career...and if that wasn't bad enough, Rajshri emotionally abuses Akshara some more and immediately falls sick, lying on the bed as if she has just suffered from Cardiac Arrest!😕

When did they ever show Rituraj's family saying yes to the proposal...all they showed was a sort of interest and promised to get back with a reply and even though there reason for rejecting the proposal is utterly ridiculous to say the least, what is more irritating and exasperating is the Maheshwari Family's reaction to it!

Vishambhar as usual gets into a huffy mood and storms off and Rajshri starts off her usual nautanki bit...telling Akshara to never sing again.

Hello! What was she singing btw? A religious bhajan or 'Kanta Laga'?😕

And how stupid and illogical is the fact that in just one meeting, Rituraj assumes that Akshara wants to make singing her career. Does she look like the kind of girl who can ever go out and buy groceries on her own, leave aside actually having a career?

This show is going from confused, to senseless to completely silly! It is a highly regressive thing that they are trying to show here in the name of tradition and culture. A girl not having a career and being a housewife is not a bad thing at all...but to say that she can't even talk about having a career is just plain nonsensical in this time and era, even in a small town like Udaipur.

And my god, the crying...Today everyone cried...Akshara, Rajshri, Varsha, Kaki, Dhaniya, Daadi, Gopi Daadi...😆😆😆 And I am sure, the men folk also shed some tears in private!

Honestly, the creatives need a big shaking up and yes, the Naitik guy should be introduced asap, so that Akshara can be wedded off and then all the crying can take place at his house!

There was just one positive thing about today's episode, the fact that Shaurya tried to protect Varsha from his family's wrath when she was about to tell them the truth about Akshara and her meeting with Rituraj in the hotel...afterwards it was hilarious to see Varsha giving pravachans to Akshara about how she shouldn't have talked about the singing thing to Rituraj...😆 Nau sau chuhe kha kar, billi haj ko chali...this Varsha is a smart one, Shaurya better be on his guard!

What the hell are the creatives making out of Akshara's character? Spineless, spiritless and now an emotional wreck!

It seems that the only thing the girl knew in life was to sing and now she has lost the confidence to sing also...all thanks to her wonderful family (Can't blame that Rituraj...jab apne hi ghar mein problem ho, toh bahaar waalo ko keh kar kya fayda?)

Now the whole of next week will be spend in crying, crying and more crying...and Akshara, instead of going to college like other girls of her age and educating herself, will spend days trying to pacify her parents and get ready to be paraded like a circus clown to the next available boy!

But unlike Akshara, Ragini always handled the rejection with so much grace and dignity...even though she cried, there was a rational behind it...there was genuine hurt and pain, which is completely missing in Akshara's case.

Even in Sadhna's case, where she gets married out of necessity and things don't go according to what she wanted...her handling of the situation was shown so beautifully.

I don't understand, why should we feel bad for a privilged girl like Akshara who has everything in the world? Her reaction to the rejection is making her look like a sore loser rather than somone who deserves sympathy.

First of all u wrote it so perfect and really created a laugh riot Congrats for that!!!!.I cannot agree more...I mean isnt that the part and parcel of how arranged marriages take place? I really don't understand why the Maheshwari family is making such a big deal out of it and behaving like a bunch of idiots who are "devastated" by this so called bad news!!!! One thing more I am really soooo angry on the creatives because why do they only emphasize upon getting a suitable match and being married? This is the 21st century and shouldnt they show that girls should be more confident and stand on their feet..make a career n stuff.....

Why is marriage being portrayed as the ultimate goal for girls and even boys for that matter? I mean look at Shaurya..have they ever shown him working diligently in the office or doing some deals...he was busy having an affair with Varsha rather than expanding his dad's business....I am really surprised on the fact that why are creatives showing all this stuff when actually its redundant in today's world since both boys and girls are more into making career rather than just get married and stay at home....they should instead show empowerment of girls rather than showing them as meek,indecisive and unconfident like Akshara....Even if they are showing her like that right now they should think of showing her as an improved person later on if they really want to make sense in front of the sensible audience....I mean compared to all these people Dhaniya is probably the better one since she works,is very confident and exactly knows what and whom she wants in life? Just my thoughts....sorry if I have offended anyone...

And loads of tears shed by everyone as well?? Okies, I'm giving this epi a miss then....hahaha....in fact, I think I should totally give things a miss till Naitik enters and hopefully salvages this show.....if he turns out to be a wet blanket too, then I'm done with this show....lol

This show is a feminist's worst nightmare!!

The Mom in this show just wants reasons to put her OWN daughter down! And the daughter herself has no spine but keeps simpering and crying all the time....ughhh!
