Akshara goes to meet Varsha and advices her to reject the rishta. At home Dhaniya informs Akshara that once an alliance is broken, the girl's reputation is tarnished and it is very difficult for her to get married again. Akshara realizes her mistake but it is too late.

Okay... so now it makes sense to me. Now I understand why Varsha's mother was angry with her. Well... since it's obvious that Varsha rejected the rishta... hopefully Shaurya will come and take her hand so that she doesn't have to suffer humiliation from others.
