In fact in hindsight and after revisiting the entire trajectory of KK in my mind's eye, I feel that his grief was indeed genuine. He genuinely did care for PS and was genuinely sorry that he was gone but he had to do what he did because PS came in the way of his blind ambition, so he had to do away with him notwithstanding how attached he was to him. Basically PS had served his purpose to further his ambitions and now had outlived his utility but he was indeed attached to him.

Very very complex character this KK is.

Ditto with Anushka as well. He loves her very sincerely more than he has ever loved anyone but if she comes in the way of his dark truth he will have to use and manipulate her as well. Likewise with Kartik!

I totally understand the anger Siddhant has for KK... It's nt coz he murdered his father but its against the man who claimed to b his true friend n would always stand by him... When I rewatched all the episodes from the beginning, I realised wht a backstabber this man was. Had Prabhakar been alive, he would hv been shattered to see his true face.

KK was always a complex character. I know people complained about making KK such a mass murderer because that would make him pure black. But I still felt it was such a complex portrayal because of his desire to keep such a clean image in front of his family and friends.
