Sid doesn't know about the girl at all. It is evident from Khurana's convo. I don't think he knows that SJ was with her. Or that Rao has taken her. Anushka knew it cause she'd talked with him over phone.

Sweety Ji was moreover sid's assistant and working on his brief so in all fairness it was siddhant's clue and she knows how badly he needs her help!

I was hoping Anushka's search for truth is due to the fact that she does not believe Rao - when he said PS was trying to fake a case on KK! But dumbness is the order of the day...
