KK's dialogue today itself was a big reveal because he cited murder after murder with a different motive for each one before ebding with so siddhant that's what you want to hear?

It was so detailed that this itself should make the police and anushka suspect him!!

Why?? Nothing happened today!

She just got to know that her appa was innocent and had no idea about what was happeniing with Rao. He even said hearttugging things like how will I face Gayatri bhabi now? How will I face my daughter and Siddhant now, etc.

He even slapped Rao, asked the police to take him away since he couldn't even bear to see his face any more.

Anushka always went with all her appa's drama. So why should your stand change today? I don;t understand

I guess the only thing that happened was for Anu to realize that murders actually happened and they were done by her dad's right hand man. So Sid was at least partially justified.

Realistically, I am not sure it would force Anu to believe KK had a hand in it. Ultimately this was the best scenario for her. Because neither were really wrong. KK can't ask her to stay away from Sid because he himself said how can face Gayatri etc. If they had more time.. I think they would have kept Anushka oblivious a little longer with this.
