Have been there hiya and I know and felt exactly what you are saying. I am not a temple person either and felt the aura.

I have travelled extensively in the hills.

Bolded - very treacherous but totally worth it! it's very different from the Ladakh experience but makes you equally spellbound.

Wrong time of year--its their winter. 😆 Plus my sister was like its exactly like Canada. 😆 That's why we skipped it when we went to Australia in December.
