Can infidelity be justified? No it can't.

Kartik and Nupur are both trapped in an unhappy marriage. Kartik is attracted towards Purva and today, unable to control his feelings for her any further, he hugged her. Purva hugged him back even tighter. She has a crush on Kartik, so couldn't hold herself back. Purva-Kartik have a lot of underlying sexual tension and are also genuinely fond of eachother. But are they in love? What does love even mean and how does it matter?

Can love justify infidelity? Absolutely not.

Nupur maintains an emotional as well as physical distance from Kartik. Is she too involved with someone else? How does that even matter?

Can your partners infidelity justify your own? I don't think so.

Can two people trapped in an unhappy marriage never seek love outside? No, they can and they should but firstly they should be open to each other about this matter. Once it is open, it can no longer be termed infidelity. This is just my opinion.

I agree with all your points here. Even if Nupur is involved with someone else that would not justify Karthik feelings towards Purva. His marriage has problems and if he is not happy he needs get out of that relationship to start this one.
I don't know if Karva are in love or if this is just infatuation and it doesn't even matter because neither are justified till Karthik is married.
