Anusha's character needs some work

We have all seen many different shades of all the characters in ypntkh.. KK/Neeta/Kartik/Shreekant/Riddhi/Gayatri/Siddhant.. all these characters have so many different angles. Positives and negatives. They all seemed a different person in the initial episodes. For example the whole fandom thought riddhi was some evil bhabhi.. but she turned out to be the nicest in the whole reddy family. KK seemed an honest businessman but turned out to be a murderer etc.. Especially Siddhant's character has been explored thoughout the episodes. He also seemed like a normal lawyer to me in the beginning but he eventually turned out to be the most smart and chalu person.😆 But anushka seems to be sidelined in all of this her character hasn't been explored well. She needs some growth asap. Today she was smiling seeing siddhant and her appa. To me, she now seems like a little kid whose parents keep all the bad stuff away for her. With little problems she starts crying and panicking.. I agree that she is emotional but she is a 26 y/o adult woman. She needs to face the world. I hope after she gets to know about KK being a killer that cvs show some growth in her character. Other then that I loveddd the confrontation between KK and sid😳 my fav scene was the way siddhant talked to rao today😆

You are right. anu needs to own up to this relationship. If KK can break them then YPNTKH will be just like any other serial on Indian TV. It would be different if she stands up with Sid against her dad but for that to happen she needs to be confided in. Although, gayatri did not ask for proofs and just believed her son Anu will ask proofs. Maybe that is what Sid is waiting for but what he couldnt find from behind the scenes. I wonder what he is going to find now.

IMO Anushka's character is halfheartedly written. i agree with you all that she is very immature and unidimentional. Her character is extremely difficult for me to relate to.

She is the lead. So, as a viewer, I should feel her pain and become sad when she cries. But I fast forward the scenes when she cries or taunts Siddhant (as she used to for months). 😆

Now as the show is in its last leg, I feel that the makers will tag that Anu against KK, as the "growth of her character".

But what she is going to go through is very complicated. As much as you wouldn't support someone like KK's actions... can you really stop loving your father? I hope they don't minimize how much of a conflict this actually is. Especially for someone who is already on the softer side.

you are right. Its going to be very hard to go against her appa. Who she pretty much has worshipped all her life. I wanna see how the makers handle that.

I feel like she won't trust siddhant. She still has blind trust on her appa. Like u said unless siddhant gives her some clear proof... she won't believe that he is the killer.

I really hope makers would use this opportunity for her growth. Throughout the whole serial she has been shown as a really emotional person. It would be amazing to watch how that same person stands up against her own father

If Anu is not shown opposing KK, then her character is nothing but mundane. If she fights for the right path then she has matured. Current there is lots of gap in Anushka. With a finite story line and the end line fast approaching, Anu needs to grow up fast.

One thing to like about Anu is her belief in Siddhant. I hope she stands with him and then her character is made more mature.
