I agree.. the women in the show are very one dimensional. Currently they've just shown Anushka as a simple girl who just wants to be with her love. Anushka knowing about PS's death.. we will see her going through conflicts.. which is something I'd like to see.

Precisely. Those scenes kinda validated the name of the show, Yeh Pyaar Nahi Toh Kya Hai. XD

When I go back, do I realise where we have come now. I agree angst is a part of it, but if they'd retained the importance of the lead couple like how it was in those scenes, making revenge a background plot, it would have been so nice.

Also, in such scenes,Anushka actually came across as a nice best friend who understands him well. Unlike now, when love and care and trust are all there, but the understanding that your best friend is messing up his life big time isn't there.

Exactly, which sort of annoys me sometimes...because even whatever she does in the office is for or somehow related to Sidhant. A girl can want love and be ambitious/independent at the same time. 😆 So I hope with this new revelation, Anu has something more to do.

I want Anushka's character to be assured and justified like how it was in the beginning.
