On a side note,which other Shakespearean comedies do you love ? And tragedies as well ? Afterall,Shakespeare's legacy was defined in true sense by his tragedies.

Firstly Sumitranandan Pant & Mahadevi Verma, now you're exciting me more than ever! Of course, too good all four and I'm so lucky to have read their works! Seriously <3

Orlando was a true gentleman! Yes the fight was a big high point!

True true true! MOV was all about Shylock and Portia. Infact you won't believe, in one of the critical analysis of the book, its stated that Shakespeare has named the book after Shylock - he being the most powerful of character. Though the debate is still on, the titular character is Antonio or Shylock but I'd love to feel Shylock there. Antonio's weakness is 🥱

Coming to other Shakespeare's works - It's Julius Caesar & Macbeth for me. Both of them are so so tragic, fills my heart with grief. 😭

Heart wrenching!

Macbeth is a psychological thriller of sorts, you get goosebumps! And JC simply is so tragic yet powerful specially the famous Mark Anthony's speech ⭐️
