Even I was confused about this but things got clear when Siddhant found the manuscript inside the cupboard when he was taking out saris for Gayatri which is where Prabhakar (I miss him sooo much still!!!) was shown keeping it.

See this is what I mean by eye to detail to the minutest of details given in this show. Just stray seemingly random scenes such as PS keeping the book in the cupboard or dialogues such as Gayatri asking Sid to get their clothes since they are busy and staying back at the Reddy's, etc. all have a purpose and NOTHING is random in this show!!!

Also, some were suggesting that KK would have taken it back if the pages were indeed poisoned! But there was no need for that nor did they get the oppty due to Prabhz death. The poison cant be traced and cant be proven. Plus they expected to keep Sid busy with his ambition, so that he cant investigate. It is all other circumstances that Sid has found out about are now adding up.

Even if it can't be traced or even if kk thought he would send Sid away or keep him busy then he still made a grave mistake. Someone who could murder plane full of innocent people, his best friend and other people involved should not have just taken for granted that no one will ever read the book. That's too circumstantial.
They could just take the book back after the Sinhas came back from Patna saying they need the original manuscript.

I so agree. If it' planned murder, one can' take such a big risk of not taking away the manuscript specially when you yourself know that it' lawyer's home.
