This is about a beautiful young girl ,Yami Gautam,who never thought she would be a star ⭐️...Hailing from Chandigarh, she pursued studies in law before she set out to make it as an actress in Mumbai, and had the support of her loving family, whom she considers her biggest strength.She was talented and highly ambitious, but at the same time,friendly and forthright...a rare and exquisite combination of beauty,grace and intellectuality.

TV Shows

She didn't hesitate when she was offered to play a role of a warrior princess in "Rajkumar Aaryan", she trained herself in the art of swordfighting and horseriding and such. She played the vengeful princess' part to such perfection, she was instantly recognised and was flooded with offers .

In her second show "Chand ke par chalo" she played the role of an elegant but shy and sensitive girl from a nawabi lineage, who nursed a broken heart and had trust issues in.

next took up the role of a young,college going girl who's modern and contemporary and yet with values and morals in life, who falls in love with her next door neighbor belonging to a different caste, in Yeh Pyar Na Hoga Kam. Her portrayal of Leher fetched her a huge fan following.Her chemistry with Gaurav Khanna was exceptional and their pairing was simply one of the best on TV

She has also appeared on shows such as "Meethi Choori", "CID" and "Kitchen Champion"

Film Career

Yami started her film career with regional films, her Kannada movie was called "Ullasa Utsaha" and her Telugu movie, which has been running successfully is called "Nuvvila" where she plays the role of a sweet, enthusiastic college goer in the movie and her acting has been appriciated by the critics.Her Malyalam movie "Hero" was with Prithviraj.She played a cameo role in a Punjabi movie"Ek Noor"

She is doing a bilingual movie in Telugu and Tamil called "Gauravam",which is almost ready for release.She has also signed another bilingual movie,Tami and Telugu, which is in progress.

Yami's debut Bollywood film Vicky Donor was a huge hit,which gave her a lot of recognition all over the world.The risk she took in acting in a film which focuses on a sensitive issue of sperm donation paid off in a big wayMany feel she has been the most promising debutant actress this year. All that popularity and fame has not effected Yami at all, she had decided early on, that it was not the quantity of work that was important to her, but the quality of it was. Which was why she is picking and choosing her next film very carefully.She has just signed one movie,"Aman Ki Asha.' with Ali Zafar",which starts shooting next year.

Fame and Recognition

Apart from TV shows and films Yami has also starred in a music video called "Ek Ladki shabnami jaisi" with Pulkit Samrat.
