@ Shripal - I really really hope TN does not know Omi's father or any such twist. It would make the matters more complicated than it already is. And again .. I don't see any point in Omi's father knowing TN, if the whole purpose of having Omi's father is to ask for Leher's hand in marriage.

hey i have a question when omi introduced himself for the first tym 2 leher in front of deepa he said tat he is om prakash saxena nd when he introduced himself 2 kul he said srivastava ...u can even chck tat episodes video it was tat episode when he was distributing mithai in collage on his return frm jail ...nd the inspector during tat garden incident said him tat he was srivastava ....so is this a blooper or another lie of omi??

Like Dreamugal, I too do not want Abeer & Leher married off to other people. And though, there is a possibility that the families now think of getting Abeer and Leher married elsewhere .. I feel, the talk of marriage could actually be the last straw for them and they revolt. Obviously, Leher would never come about to even think of Omi .. leave alone marrying him, no matter how much her family insists. And ofcourse, besides the families .. everyone knows Omi's track record .. and its not difficult to find out.

Secondly, speaking about Deepa .. she herself will reject it all. Even though they have shown Deepa as a very submissive girl, listening quietly to everything her mother says .. there has been instances where she has stood up. Deepa has been instrumental in getting Leher to change her mind about Abeer ... secondly, when Leher lied about being over at Deepa's house and Veena had spoken bad about Leher ... it was Deepa who gave it back to her mother! Deepa might just be the surprise packet here and actually stand up for Abeer & Leher. That would be nice to see.

And yes, I agree with you ... in such case, especially coming from small towns .. its not just the girl who is tainted .. but the guys too! I do believe .. it may not be as bad as what the girl goes through .. but definitely the guy is not spared. And yup, we saw instances of it last night itself.

Like Dreamygal said .. now the focus needs to shift to Abeer-Leher's relationship, and I think its going there. About the whole caste issue ... most definitely its gonna be the focal point .. like a lady there, so loudly commented "Brahmin ka ladka .. Kayastha ki ladki?" 😲

Kids, please see Annex for some of my horrific thoughts, which may have already been covered! Shripal - Omi is not Srivatsav right? He is Saxena but in front of Kul he said Srivatsav! I believe Saxena is Kayasth too but he did lie to Kul about his name among other things!

what the hell Bittan and Ankur were doing shouldn't they hav told their family abt omi tat he's a goon nd biggest gunda of their collage...at least Ankur should hav ..omi had approached Leher in front of him he was so stupid at tat tym...Abeer ko toh nalaak kehta hai khud kitna bada ghada hai apni behen ko nahi bacha paya Omi se...

^^ Mrinal .. I don't blame Ankur or Bittan to have kept quiet then. The situation was such .. plus all that happened, anyone is bound to get speechless! Everyone .. especially the families are in such a confused state of mind .. no one can think or act straight. But yes, today .. when all are back home .. hopefully Bittan should speak up for Leher. But again .. chances are BIttan is gonna face the wrath too .. they will tell her "tumhe pehle se hi sab kuch pata tha?" and Kul is gonna scream his lungs out on the poor girl

well Ekta i'm nt saying tat they should hav said this at tat tym but a little earlier ..well forget tat jst hope tat bittan doesn't face the music bcuz of all this nd don't understand Brij slaping Leher he said a night b4 tat he wants his daughters to do all those things which he couldn't nd he himself did love marriage nd used 2 say tat he used 2 roam around girls collage...now he's a father but should nt forget he used 2 do bcuz he was in luv maybe after he calms down he might hav a conversation nd give her support ...but as we all know tat kul will try all ways possible 2 convience mridula 2 marry off leher nd omi as a suitable groom for her ....at tat tym bittan should give her support nd wid the help of abeer or his frndz if they want 2 give some worth 2 their characters ...nd expose omi as it will b quite diff. for abeer as he will also b facing the music nd as TN used 2 say tat he would throw his son out so its the right tym to throw abeer out so does he gets a life nd grow up...but he should nt go nd start living wid omi this can happen if he is again mislead by omi ...uhh god jst bring everything 2 normal

I dont know if its justified to say that at this juncture but I thought YPNHK was supposed to be a "SIMPLE" love story with backdrop of caste issues................. and it started off as a story of the yester-years............ what happened to all that?????? With this sting operation and all the very essence of the story seems lost in the khichdi created by the CVs......😡😡😡😡.....

And if I remember right, Rajita Sharma who had written the initial episodes had said that she has penned about 150+ episodes .............. but going by the trend doesnt look like they are using the initial story.............. its gone absolutely haywire, with all the old-world charm lost in this TRP inspired twists-race............ and talking of TRPs even thats going nowhere.........Realized this when I was talking to my mum back in India ystday ... she used to watch YPNHK regularly when it started but gave up after the omi-track came up..........

Hope they can salvage the show this point on ...........

@ Mrinal - I'm sure, after the initial shock subsides Brij too will come around and understand Leher's POV. They should have a heart to heart talk and Leher should tell her father that she has really not done anything wrong .. falling in love is not wrong, rightly so .. as Brij & Mridula themselves have had a love marriage.

Well I guess Brij's reaction is very realistic and is quite justified. Though he did have a love marriage himself and also he mentioned how he bunked classes to meet his GF, which he had to since it was a love marriage, but I guess the way Leher's love for Abeer was exposed was too ugly and hard to stomach for Brij or anyone for that matter. He had immense trust in his daughter and he was very proud of his upbringing. The best case scenario would have been Leher confiding in her dad, but CVs (OMI) left no choice or time for her to do so. Though Brij's initial reaction is understandable, I hope he gains a grip over the situation and talks out to his daughter,and listens to her, this would be in line with his character shown thus far. It would be real hard for him, but Leher needs his support now. Leher should be utterly devastated bcos she constantly thinks about her father's 'izzat' and puts that on top ahead of anything else. As Brij himself had said once, if it is the kid's right to make mistakes, then it's the elder's responsibility to forgive them , though Leher hasn't made a mistake by falling in love with Abeer, she sure should have confided in him, well which was not possible.
I hope Abeer is not kicked out of his house, (and stil worse staying with Omi? that would be the end of it I guess) then Leher has to join him, it would be further damaging to their relationship with their resp. families, keep them around and try to win them over, but I donno how they wld do that.😕
As for Bittan, I am not sure if she could be of any support with respect to the family, yes she might help bridge the gap between Abeer and Leher when misunderstandings crop in for obvious reasons between these two. Here, I am thinking Bittan would be of great help in consolidating their relationship, hopefully.....
