After watching yesterdays episode i was thinking what will we do if you are in place of Rashmi.

I think i have done long time ago. B'coz we cant bare such type of insult of our parents for our happiness.

what says guyz.....

(Shukla's and DADI) have crossed all limits...they have not left a stone unturn...to insult them...

If i was in her place i surely would have supported my parents...

And no one would dare to speak rubbish to my parents...

that to in front of me and many other people...

see after knowing that they have not done anything wrong and insted are ready to accept the person in my life...how can i hear anything wrong about them...

What is Madhav doing???...if he is not able to say anything to his parents now...he will continue the same after marraige also...and then...

He will tell her to compromise...why will she do it everytime...

RASHMI its high time now...you really need to do something...

Woww .. nice question! Seriously .. what would I do in Rashmi's place?! Hmmm .. I guess its very easy for us to analyse the situation as we see it .. and say we would do exactly what Rashmi did. But its not always as easy as it seems ..

Firstly .. I'd like to say .. we know that Dadi & Shuklaain have crossed limits and insulted Rashmi & the Majumdar's way too much. But really .. they are not entirely wrong about going hysterical over Madhav eating fish. I guess .. even if Dadi & Shuklaain were not as harsh as they have been .. this one incident would have turned them nasty!

Coming back to the main topic .. In the situation, I guess I would have done the same - ie, call off the wedding. One just can't take the insults towards the parents. But then .. the kinda person I am .. I guess I would try my level best to not bring it to this situation in the first place. If I go to my fiance's hometown .. it does become his moral responsibility to be protective of me and my family. Its not enough to only say he loves & respects them .. he needs to show it. In this case .. Madhav has not really done anything to show the Majumdar's that they are doing the right thing by giving their daughter's hand in marriage to him.

Rashmi had been waiting for Madhav to speak up .. and trusted him. Now .. not only has she had enough of Shuklaain & Dadi .. she's had enough of Madhav too. More than anything else .. she has lost her love, respect and trust where Madhav is concerned. And thats the sad part!

@Ektaj...totally agree with your views....this was bound to happen specially with Madhav being tongue-tied each time this barrage of insults starts...all Madhav did was give helpless expressions. Insulting the Majumdars in the absence of Madhav is one thing...they do it in front of him and continuously and he keeps quiet. If this was the other way around, he would not keep quiet.

I'm totally with Rashmi...she was right in what she did and should have done it earlier, but I suppose she kept hoping that Madhav would speak up for her parents.

well,I would have punched Madhav to start with ( sorry ,my lost Khan-ness kicks in here ) and then I would have tipped him into the little lake and when he'd struggle to swim ,I'll mock at his fish eating dare or rasam as he called it !!! ....

jokes apart,I agree with all of u here
firstly I'd try and wouldn't let the whole thing get to this stage
the annoying and shameful truth of our society that the groom's side get the upper hand in any wedding can and will not be changed ever,no matter how well both sides gel...

I think I would have respectfully made my way back to my town to protect my parents from any further insult ,they had already taken enough just for Rashmi's sake... and the reason they wouldn't blame Madhav is coz Rashmi chose him as her life partner....

well I'm happy that Rashmi is finally taking that bold step,perhaps a tad too late but like they say "better late than never"
its better than spending your entire life with a loser !

I would have talked to Madhav and considering what a spineless fool he is, I would have cancelled the marriage because the guy obviously cannot stand up for his own choices...marriage doesnt work like that...no relationship can.
