So far Abeer has been a respectful son who thinks his father knows best. He's also scared of him, can't speak up in front of him etc.
But Abeer is also a highly impulsive guy and his father knows this. so far he has also indulged him to a great extent - he's a stern father but noth necessarily very strict.
Now it is changing. Abeer, maybe for the first time ever, is mentally critical of his father. He thinks TN was wrong to behave like that with Mr Mathur; he must've been disappointed that his father did not save his face by signing a simple attestation that his son had promised. He hasn't said anything but he feels it. He is also not listening to his father, not obeying him - his compulsion to apologise to Lehar is greater than obeying that instruction.
It will be interesting to see how these relationships progress.
