Hope this mail finds you in the best of creative health.
I wish to convey my heartfelt regards to you for bringing this show to me. Thank you...from the core of my heart for retaining my faith in goodness, purity, love and honesty. I have been meaning to write to you for the past couple of days but just was not able to collect my thoughts about my experience of watching this story, unfold. To be honest, yes, I know this is a fictional story, set in a fictional locale creating a world of illusion for the audience, yet, the importance of fiction cannot be ignored specially if it is an audio-visual medium. It makes the characters come alive before the viewers...and you have been remarkable in your job of creating a make-belief world where good always wins over evil. Good people love and are loved and bad people hate and are hated...that is the soul reason, I listen to the same fairy tales from my Nani every night before going to bed. This is the same reason I draw lessons of life from the tales of Panchatantra...because it leaves me feeling good...and as Mukhiji says, if u think happy...you will get happy dreams.
Right from the beginning of this show...this philosophy has been your underlying strength. Goodness reigns. I am particularly glad that you have time and again defied all the cliches and taken on a path that the society fears to take or watches those lanes with the lens of suspicion, judgment and opinion. I am indebted to you, for carving a character like Mukhi, who does not believe in winning over his wife forcefully, or when she is in her vulnerable state...when she is found unconscious and naked in the bathroom...or for him fighting for her dreams. I wish to thank you for creating a sister like Mishri who rose above the fact that her bhaila is not her blood brother...but to realize that her bhaila is the truest relationship that she could ever find. I thank Mukhi for never judging Aru because of the conduct of her sister and I am ever indebted to you for creating Aru...a girl I send out my blessings, love and good wishes to..for she re-instills my faith in feminism and solid integrity...and the power of education and enlightenment. A girl who is devoted, committed, has a high-moral fabric, straightforward, has a spine, and has the naked guts to stand up against all wrong. Lastly, and most poignantly, I sincerely thank you for writing Saanvi...for being what she is...a woman who re-defines purity and is my definition of true 'friendship'...a woman who can never even dream of harming her friend. Thank you for making this so called "uncomfortable-friendship" so pure, ardent and warm...and thank you for making my Aru...rise above her insecurities... rise above the ordinary and shine like a star... Thank you for making her address Saanvi as the "Sakhi" of Krishna. A friend with whom, Krishna could laugh, cry and care...😊 I literally have tears in my eyes, even now as I type this.
Way to go Team Moh Moh!! I totally understand the challenges that lay ahead of you, considering this being an infinite series...how would you keep this interesting, now that Saanvi is also not the "other woman"...what would be the new track be like?? But then, that is your forte, you give us stuff that we don't expect...and we expect that very unexpected and A+ quality stuff from your creative tanks..
Guys, trust me, positivity, progressiveness and purity sells...it really does...we bought the idea of this show as it was sans the Saas-bahu saga...women are mature and the leading Man has his heart at the right place...so, go guys go...awaiting for more wonderful moments. In simple words, I cannot express, how completely and comprehensively this episode made me happy.
Wishing the writers...a long and extremely satisfying creative innings...happy writing!!
