Absolutely true, those were my exact thoughts during the scene...he didnt tell her she can never reach the shelf by herself. He rather held her up and let her achieve her goals. Hope so see him doing that and let her reach her Ambani goals by herself with some support from him...but not leaning on him.

When she tries to reach out to the sky, he will hold her to the ground, and not let her fall..what a man.
His only flaw is he listens to Rami a little too much. Once he outgrows that..he will be awesome.

Such a beautiful parallel drawn ... to their actual relationship : Mukhi is the kind of husband who'll HELP her achieve her dreams .. give her a lil boost ..but Aru will attain them HERSELF .. just like how she kept the barni on the shelf apne haathon se. Mukhi will not be like other condescending patis and be like oh ill give you sahara ... he'll just help her achieve her dreams .. and support and cheer her on from the sidelines.

I will just write a dialogue from a film called Tum Bin (the one with Sandali Sinha and Priyanshu Chaterjee), in that film when the hero is standing with the heroine in her time of need, he tells her "Jaanta hu aap ko sahare ki jaroorat nahi hai, main sirf saath dene aaya hun"

ArMu really ek bahot hi unique pair hai...Age, thinking, goals, dreams sabkuch dono me different hai but jo ek cheez dono ko jodta hai wo hai ekdusre k liye respect and understanding... dono ek dusre ko complete karte hai. 😳

Nice post! Certainly a symbolic scene. Not only will he be there for her, help achieve her dreams, be in the background and remain there until she realizes and slides down to notice him, and reciprocate his love. Haaai ... how long will that take.
