The writers have handled this show nicely so far, so there must be a reason why such odd dream sequences are being shown. Must say, Armu's dreams are quite hatke, like them.

This is how I made sense of it all. Just like we imagine the characters while reading a book, Mukhi imagined a village girl as the girl from the diary. It is the manifestation of his imagination and admiration, don't think it is love. This diary and the girl will act as "love guru." I really don't think Mukhi is crushing on her, his emotions still lies with Aru.

As for aru, her dreams are obvious. Despite being such a mature girl, she is still a young girl with her dreams of Bollywood heroes. Dreams gives us a glimpse of a person inside, and aru perhaps has not accepted mukhi as he is if she fantasizes him as someone he is not. I could be wrong, for all I know it just shows us that aru is still a giddy teenager. As their relationship progresses, her dreams will take a more mature/serious turn, as opposed to the frivolous fantasies.

I Love that mukhi is trying to do nice things for aru. It goes back to my mention of the small things. Grand gestures are nice, but the small things matter the most. Every girl loves it when her husband arranges a nice candle light dinner for them at home, better than any five-star restaurant. What I loved the most was that there were no second-thoughts regarding the dinner or what it means for them. He read about it, confirmed with aru and arranged it all on his own. I mean, how thoughtful was that? He is turning out be such a sensitive husband. This is what us girls need more of in the wold, sensitive and thoughtful husbands.😊

Before Armu's marriage, solid foundations were already lain. . Yes, they had their disagreements but they held each other in high standards. There was respect and they saw each- other in a positive light, that is why their post-marriage relationship is not laden with contention. Their candid chat during dinner was lovely, I love the transparency. Aru easily suggests Mukhi to fall in love, despite what happened because everyone deserves to experience it. No jealousy or discomfort in aru, meaning her own feelings aren't clear yet and she has not tried to make sense of her weird fantasies (can't blame her.) Now it remains to see how she reacts once her feeling intensify, because that diary will create some friction eventually.😆

What else do I say about our darling mukhiji? His continuous blushing is just too cute for words. He looks so befuddled in front of aru, all he does is smile and blush. The guy is definitely falling hard without even realizing.

As for the uncomfortable passing gas scene😆 well..that is the un-sexy part of marriage that no one wants to talk about. Of course, it is normal when u have to share every part of you with someone else.

Lovely post! With such an insight into their thought process.👏

Such innocence Pom. Mukhi couldn't have known that girls are very happy with these little gestures. For his age and background, he probably thinks jewels and clothes are the gifts that impresses girls... city girls... we know his opinion of them!

Like it has been mentioned by you and others in our forum, the writers have been bang on in sticking to what was offered in the original promos. Him brushing his teeth with neem sticks, him drinking chai in the saucer, his views about women working at home and outside... and later on in the ashram, him washing his own clothes...we even had a scene in the 5 star hotel where he went out to get himself a bucket...it was all about a villager who had no connection with the fast world but was bang on with every single principle that he followed in his life. In the write up about him on the laptop (I tried to freeze and read), he is referred to as a Gandhian... again a reminder of his principles in life.

He's missed out on so much in his youth. He is unaware of the nuances of social graces in city culture, and the influence of peer culture during a college education. He has obviously even missed out the cinematic influences on behaviour through the past 2 decades.

Really it's a good thing that he is untouched by the artificial rules of society. It is fascinating for him to get into the mind of the diary girl, whose life is so different yet in many ways similar to his. It is also a glaring reminder for us about the superficial materialistic things that hold importance in our life. It was therefore very fascinating for him to find out that girls actually are very happy with small thoughtful gestures... he went and asked her straight away and ...tadaaa... we had our candlelight chaat night!

Mukhijiii, you could not get cuter. Totally spoiling us, married or unmarried. Makes me twist my husband's ears and get him to watch you!

Blue Bold.. - Hit the nail 👏

Loved your post

For all reasons if we see Mukhi type men is not easy to love for a city girl .. at least not - Love-at-first-site for sure

Without mocking the feelings of a 40+ villager simpleton CV's are bringing our slowly his better side

He is not shying to teach Aru Chai with Sutki
He is very confident in Dhoti and making no attempt to change his Gujarat-ki-Shaan attire

and like many men he is very ok with farting as it is a natural process.. and he says it so Kootly
Like urban metrosexual people they don't sit in board meetings and socialize in fund raisers or formal dinners.. and make attempts to suppress fart to avoid embarrassment 🤣

Mukhi did not imagine the girl as a bride, he imagined her as the usual village girl he is used to seeing. The veil is because he does not know who this mystery girl is. I suspect this girl will make regular appearances until one day he will finally succeed in ripping the veil off, only to see aru. Meaning, subconsciously he imagined the girl as her. that discovery itself might confuse him.

I concur😳 remember the old Mukhiji? Who used to be irritated in Aru's presence?? The same man is blushing and pampering his wife like no other..this is the power of love..it changes any man of any age..not to forget Aru's old weird dreams of drowning Mukhiji in water, punching him and what not😆 and now she imagines Mukhiji as a filmy hero, her dream hero..this is the progression of their relationship, the growth..they actually come a long way.. although the relationship is new but they discovered a lot in each other since their first meet to now a lot has been changed..I really liked how the makers penned down the gradual progress.
