I am tired of stupid and ignorant women shown as cute. One of my favourite film critic who writes mostly for Hindu (and reviews a lot of Tamil films) calls these kind of heroines (which it seems are rampant in Tamil cinema) "Loosu Punnu" , it can be called as "Bachpa me sar pe giri ladkiya"

Most female leads of this kind behave as if they seriously need therapy.

most chirpy leads on television are annoying. bubbly does not have to be annoying or over the top

Your line reminded me of one of my favourite poem by a favourite poet, Pablo Neruda, the poem does not entirely fit (so far) to them but this line of yours reminded me of these :

That dialogue stayed with me too! For two important reason. He said it with pride unlike most such families which say it with contempt.

And he included her in his home, family, life, all in one line.

I know he gave her tht sense of belonging.. belonging to the Katara household and belonging to him..

a new bride doesn't need all those tall proclamations of love.. such small gestures can make hell lot of difference and instantly makes her feel at home.. which is all tht she needs.. sometimes hubbies take a lot of time to understand tht.. Mukhi already knows tht..

bt funny how the whole household is hell bent on making him Raje's wife and Mukhiyani of Amboli village wen thy know she is leaving in few days.. 😆

Even Aru is not opposing tht.. so here clearly thrs conflict of interest on Mukhiji's part.. 😆

I cudnt comment yesterday bt someone mentioned abt the nontypical bond thy share on my thread... I wanted to write then abt the types of nuances in there relation... . There are many shades to the relationship... And the one I like most is the guardian Ward relationship... Which comes naturally bcoz of the age difference...

yeah.. it has been used previously quite a few times.. in tht bike ride scene to find the network for one... and in tht tin ke phone wala scene as well.. 😳

It was nice to hear "Aru" from Mukhi. But I think Aru calling Raidhan may not sound that good..I mean the name is good...but the way Aru calls him Mukhiji...bahut apnapan hai...jab doosre log Mukhiji bolte hain to lagta hai jaise "Sir bol rahe hain. But when Aru says Mukhiji...ek alag hi meethapan hai...

I think Aru too loves being called Daffod by Mukhiji..

bt yes.. Mukhiji the way Aru says its sounds so cute.. and loving...

I think thy will never b on equal footing for Aru to call him by his first name without using a ji.. as a sign of respect.. or she can use his full name.. Mr. Raidhan Raaj Katara.. in her angry bird mode.. 😆 😆
