If the show is getting visibility/footage on SBS/SBB etc shows or getting more OLVs, thn the show is slowly getting popular..that says my experience of TV viewing

This show has right content to be a hit. Lets c how it fares.

Comparative TRP shows it has much scope to grow since no other channel has better option to offer. Thy r getting TRPs just bcoz its channel is more popular thn Sony bt none of new serials have been as popular as veteran Saathiya.

Tho, I wudnt bother much abt TRPs. Kyunki its a cutthroat competition and every channel and production house has to survive. No show can make profit if thy don't get adequate audience.

Again, we shudnt stop enjoying by worrying abt things we cant control. 😳


Also compared to other popular show forums that I have been part of, this is v less active forum for a show to be in top 10.

Also Sony is planning to extend its prime time slot from 6:00 pm. to 11:30 pm.

I am not sure how they count trp exactly as now a days most of people watch show online rather their airtime! I m in us & most of my friends they watch online all show based on their schedule .

That's y I say the show is getting popular. Sony also considers online audience for e.g. Ek duje, Kuch Rang.., and Beyhad have all been v popular online rather thn on traditional TRP meter.

Also, channel has a specific audience demographic in mind and a specific minimum TRP/online viewership criteria to meet when they launch a new show. If that is not met, thy will axe it no matter how much we fret,cry,shout abt it. 😆

When more than 600 people can look into a post, why is it difficult to get 10 people to post.

In other popular forums, each post gets more than 500 views instantly. And many just post 'mission pink' and carry on.

Thr r only two answers..

either the show is still not popular enuf or interesting enuf for silent viewers to comment..

or

the show is not that popular... 😃


I don't agree with "Mission Pink" misson its irritating.

Other popular forums have some amazing writers, which r missing on this forum.

I doubt the show is going anywhere for the time being, new shows coming up are not ready only Pehredaar piya ki might be. KBC is coming up in maybe few months time seems pointless scraping it when KBC will probably take a chunk of shows out with it hour and half slot.

Saathiya actually started with no sbs sbb footage and lack of promos, I think there is still hope for our show.

see its getting some TRPs at this slot and if it seems to b a hit in its targeted audience.. (rural - three tier audience) and its a hit for online viewers too..

so I don't think Sony wud scrap this show. Its too soon. 😳

It was a gamble by Star that worked.. I remember watching it after my a hard days job.. and realized what a headache it was! 😆

Remember thy had previously too gambled with Star Dopahaar shows which didn't work..

this time thy r filling all slots from afternoon to midnight.. pagal hai kya.. itna TV kaun dekhaga iss zamane mein.. seriously! its overdose!
