Since lot of ppl have been speculating a lot of things.. and thy did match with mines.. so I decided to coalesce them into a plausible story.. here it goes

..

Mukhi =sentences Rami to leave the village bcoz she is adamant abt Lalji, who is a criminal and cannot b married to him. (Lalji also mentioned he has a brother and father in the village. Elder son of ex-mukhi? 🤔 )

She gives birth to a child. Bt is told tht it died (I know clich). Rami is heartbroken. Hence, Mukhi requests his bff Kailash, a widower with an infant child named Kisan already, to marry Rami. Its a marriage of convenience for both of them.

There Mukhi adopts the illegitimate child of Rami, unknown to her and brings her home, names her Mishri.

When Rami comes back to village with Kailash and Kisan, she comes to know abt this new "sister" of her and instantly starts hating her.

She also learns that her lover is arrested and convicted of lifetime of imprisonment.

In rage, she plans a murder attempt on Mukhi, bt is saved by little Mishri.

She plans many a murder attempts after that in cahoots with ex-mukhi bt every time Mishri saves him.. (yeah yea.. I know its too far fetched bt thts wat rami said😃 )

Frustrated, she seeks divine intervention from Tantrik baba, who goes thru his kundli and predicts tht Mishri is the "Dhaal" and shud b get rid off. (Now don't ask me why she cudnt kill the "dhal" itself 😆 ) and also that any woman close to Mukhi wud become his dhal 🤔 (now don't ask me why Uma cudnt b the dhaal... 😆 . Turns out she too might not b his actual sister. jst some duuur ki behna under refuge of Mukhi) and also conspires to keep mukhi unmarried (thr might b a side story of Mukhi-Saanvi)

Years pass by, she keeps on trying and failing to kill Mukhi. ex-mukhi keeps on rubbing salt to her wounds and Rami turns mroe and more desperate and bitter by each passing day. She is keen on Mishri's mrg so that Mukh's dhaal cud b removed.

Now Saanvi is now a widow.. and her father doesn't care abt her but her brother does care.. she is in love with someone already, and we know he is not Mukhi.

Earlier I had thought tht Arjan might've played with her but thn he turned out to b her brother.

So now I guess he might b Kailash, Rami ke naam ka pati. That's the reason why Saanvi cannot reveal his name. (oh I so want this to b true. I want to see Rami tasting her own dose of medicine)

And all things get cleared before Aru leaves for ahemdabad.

Thn a new phase would start from there on. Mukhi might lose his position and is forced to join Aru in Ahemdabad. There are lot of interesting possibilities in this phase.

Lets c how it goes bt I hope it goes my way 😆

Vi,

I will also prefer (and it will seem much more realistic) if Mukhi falls for Aru first. But he will refrain from expressing it and will try to set her free.

I am not sure if they show that. A lot of serials show that both people fall in love simultaneously or mostly women fall in love first.

Bt here Aru's priority seems to b clear from day one..i hope thy don't change tht..

for a change, I want a FL to fulfil her ambitions first and thn think abt her marriage. 🤔

Both will fall simultaneously but mukhi is laready falling but marks my word he will never confess about aru she will be in state of confusion coz she had never fallen in love and this feeling is alltogether new to aru while Mukhi being enough mature and checks every box of it ..will be upper hand on this 😆

Yes. I am tired of Marriage is shown as end goal for women. :-(

But a friend of mine who was doing some research in social science told me that the shows which shows women being oppressed, less educated are more popular because a large segment of the viewers (women who are from the age group to 30s to 50s and from non metro cities and from middle to lower middle income groups) related (or think they relate) to them more.

The tadka of love story makes sure younger girls from same socio-economic strata get attracted to these shows.

So ML might be all crazy and loving but is never a progressive (in real sense of the word) in these serials.

This research is the main reason for such regressive shows on TV... 😆 😆 😆

The rate of change of TRPs is directly proportional to the torture meted out on female lead... she behaving as abla naari and her husband abusing her left right and center.. humiliating her.. trampling her self-respect and she like an "samajdaar" wife understands why her husband did this and quietly decides to forgive him... 😆

its true, but Sony's all recent female leads have this somewhat progressive mindset and therefore, Sony shows never work. 😆

bt yaahan pe to ML bhi progressive hai while keeping the "Indian/South Asian" values intact. so I guess such bold step should work.

As Sony caters to urban audience, it wants to stick with love story-thriller-comedy genres I guess.

Since long I haven't seen a (regressive) social drama on Sony. 😳
