For those who are uninitiated, a very old film by R.K. Banner (Raj Kapoor Productions) called "Barsaaat" had this kind of scene and that pose later became emblem for their production.

R. K. film banner has it but they (wisely) never used that in their film again. Iconic things are iconic because they do not occur on a daily basis. But serial writing is keep on rehashing same thing.

To an extent it is difficult to blame the writer, if you have to write so much content on daily basis how many new things you can invent. :-D

And sadly TRP of different serial prove that "fresh" content is not what audience wants to see.
