It seems Mukhi IS nervous.

The whole marriage was his sister's idea and he went along thinking he was never going to get a bride.

Now when the real deal is nearby, he is not sure. He shared it with his friend, Kailash in a scene.

It was very well portrayed as a man in his 40s is set in his habits and can find marriage a bit disconcerting.

Ejaz has been really amazing as Mukhi.
I agree, he did it perfectly and his nervousness was visible yet subtle.

Yes, Eijaz has done a very good job. And as for Mukhi, this is uncharted waters. His work and his life as it is was something he was sure about.

The situation changes suddenly. He is not in control any more and that has slightly unnerved him.

I liked his reactions when the whole Haldi and falling on Aru happens. He is unusually spooked.

Yep, and than the ladies dropped the apshagun thing and he freaked out!!
He already thinks it's weird, than the haldi getting on Aru just about did him in...the best part is ArMu relationship doesn't start with physical attraction. They are actually getting to know the real person.

I wonder how Mukhi is going to react when he finds out that the diary he loves to read is Aru's!! 😆

Totally agree with you!! Eijaz is doing awesome!! He is very talented actor yet underrated!! Loving the character Mukhi ,mature yet innocent, uneducated but full of values and knowledge, neither a MCP nor a spineless male lead!!! Very well sketch character 😊

So far I am loving both the character. The FL which is not annoyingly preachy and a ML who is not a misogynistic ass. :-D (I wrote a post a while ago calling them a Man with a heart and a woman with a spine)
