It started out with a nine-episode order in June 2001, a modest beginning for a show that would come to pioneer a genre. Today the Endemol-owned, NBCs "Fear Factor" has come to represent the gold standard of reality programs that convince contestants to walk a high beam in the sky, chew on intestines, endure scorpion-filled pits -- and emerge with their wits more or less intact.

Today this show is available in more than a 100 countries, and is one of the biggest brands to have emerged in the history of television. The show continues to dazzle audience across the world and dominate its time period with its stunning production values and extreme emotions.

The good news, is that the show unlike anything else ever seen on American television, is now being introduced in India by Sony Entertainment Television. Auditions begin in August.

Rules for Fear Factor, India participation

Agar hai khataron se khelne ka hausla, to Fear Factor hai aap ke liye. Sirf Sony Entertainment Television par.

1. Participants must be over 18 years old on date of registration
2. Participants must be between 5ft and 6ft 2inches tall
3. Participants must weigh between 50 and 100 kgs
4. Pariticipants must have an Indian passport valid till January 31, 2006
5. Participant should not have any criminal record nor be undischarged insolvent or of an unsound mind.
6. Persons meeting with the following conditions should not perform in Fear Factor: Fear Factor mein nimnlikhit parsthiyon mein aap hissa nahin le sakte. Heart Conditions or Abnormal Blood Pressure, Expectant Mothers, Casts, Splints and Arm Slings, back, neck bone joint or muscle problems, recent surgery or other conditions that could aggravated by participation in physically demanding stunts.
7. Participant will be required to fill an application form and sign an indemnity bond form before start of auditions.
8. Participants, if selected will provide 2 passport size photographs, white background and six months bank statements, on day of selection
9. Participants will need to register themselves by SMS or telephone and get a registration number without they cannot audition

first they copy Indian Idol
Now they're copying Fear Factor

next we will be seeing them copying BAYWATCH! 😉 The will probably change the tittle to ummmmm....Samundar Ki Life Guards! 😆

omg! these people are crazy! 😆 😆 This is going to be a cheap version of fear factor! and i wonder if people will willingly eat bugs. 😕

well i dun understand why can't they think fo something on their own???? 😕 they are always copying other's stuff..lets see what's next.. 😕 i feel liek lauging and i am confused..
