Just out of curiosity....and felt a little bad for him too....(even though im a Rahil fan) I wanted to know how did the directers and producers of the show broke the news to him??

just wanted to add...that i think he did a great job with such tremendous efforts to do justice to the character...we musnt forget his courage and the fact that he did make an effort. However phir woh hi kismet ki baat aa jati hai....he didnt get the right character to express his way of acting....the character of Ashmit somehow didnt suit his personality like the way it sky rocketed for Rahil. Maybe if he was given a completely new character role to play in the show....perhaps we would have preffered him better...hena???
