Pooja starts her speech and everyone starts laughing. The principle is furious and Vikram Roy is looking at Pooja. Akaash and Mandy are feeling bad that everyone is laughing. Annie's friend calls her and tells her that everyone is laughing at Pooja's accent. Annie is happy that her plan is more successfull than she anticipated and says that Pooja will bring shame to St.Martin's college and will be out of the college. Pooja then asks everyone to be quiet for a minute. She reminds them that they are here to discuss something very serious. She tells them it should not matter how she speaks. what should matter is what she has to say. She says that English is spoken with a different accent in US, Uk and Australia. But why do we laugh if we Indians speak the language with our accent. She requests them to concentrate on the subject rather than her accent. She goes on with her speech and everyone is spell bound and nodding their heads.
Poornima is writing a note to Pooja saying that she is sorry she cannot keep the promise made to her. She says it is late and that the person she liked will not be accepted by anyone in their house. So she is leaving the house. She asks Pooja to forgive her since she did not keep her promise.
Meanwhile in the college Mahesh Bhatt comes on the stage and recites a note. He quotes Walt Disney saying " if you can dream, then you can do it". He says a country is not poor when it does not have money but it is poor when it does not have people dreaming. He says he is happy to have seen that dream here in St.Martin's college and then announces Pooja as the winner. Pooja is very happy and so is Akaash and Mandy. Mandy teases KS and he asks Akaash to help him out. But Akaash says he cannot help as Pooja deserves to be the winner.
Vikram Roy tells the principle that he is ready to face the punishment for having not respected the board's decision. The principle says that he will definitely punish him by shaking his hand. He tells that both he and ST.Martin's college are proud of him and his student Pooja. Vikram Roy is happy. Pooja is with her friends and sees Vikram Roy. She thanks him for having faith in her. He is also happy for her ( He says something here, I missed it. If anyone knows you can post it).
Pooja suddenly remembers her sister Poornima's letter and wants to go home. As she is about to go home one of the board members catches her and wants to introduce her to the foreign delegates. Mandy joins her there. When the person asks which state she is from, and Pooja says she is from Gujarat. Mandu says she is Punjab, her name is Mandeep and Mandy in english. Pooja asks Mandy to do something since she wants to go home. Mandy tells the person they will go for a minute and will be back in 2 minutes. ( the way she said this was really funny.).
Pooja reaches home is frantically looking for Poornima. When she does not find her she asks her mother. Sudha says Poornima made a call and after that she has not seen her. So she assumed that she was in the room. Pooja goes into the room and finds the note Poornima has written for her. She is shocked to read it. She is worried and seeing this Sudha asks her what the matter is. She brushes it off. Sudha then enquires about the debate. Just then our "mirchi bua" enters. She taunts Sudha that they are so engrossed in their talk that they did not notice her enter the house. Pooja is still thinking about Poornima. Jayshree bua notices this and is keeping an eye on her.
Pooja remembers that her mother said Poornima made a call and so she picks up the phone and hits the redial button. She asks who is she calling and the person on the phone says that she has reached the registrar's office and they conduct marriages there. Sudha asks whose phone it was and Pooja says it is her friends and that she has to meet her and runs out of the house. Jayshree bua sees this and wants to find out. She also hits the redial button and again reaches the registrar's office. Jayshree bua is puzzled as to what Pooja wants to do there. She excuses herself from Sudha bhahi and follows Pooja. They reach the Marriage bereau and Poornima is surprised to see Pooja.
