I think the real villian here is Junaid Khan who sought the easy way to become rich, put his son's life on the deal and then left his family for another woman.

True the real evil here is junaid...he sold his son's soul to get all this wealth...I think this jinn is neither evil nor good he is just bound by laws as old as time which can't be broken..just like genie from Aladdin he was a nice jinn but he had to serve whoever had the lamp..

And I am not saying this because arhaan looked really hot :p I had always thought of jinn as neither evil nor good..
