He plays a shrewd businessman who thinks in terms of profit and loss only In the upcoming episodes, he will reveal his plans and get his college friend Mallika to help him accomplish them. Here's a chat with Tushaar aka Gaurav who spills the beans. Tell us about your character Gaurav. I am rich guy and have a lot of attitude. I also don't believe in relationships. I am only concerned with profit and loss in life. I don't mind changing with time and looking for my benefit and profit in all that I do. How different is your character from your previous show Do Saheliyan? This is my second show and Gaurav's character is completely different from my earlier show. My first character was very loving and caring but here I play a business-minded man who has no emotions. What is your ultimate motive? At this time, my goal is to takeover Ranbir's company but I also have an ulterior motive. I want revenge from Akshay. I want the audiences to see the show for the dramatic happenings. How are you connected with Akshay and Manjari? The story about my past with Akshay will soon be shown on the serial. Just wait and watch for the connection between us. Why are you helping Mallika? I don't care for her per se but I am with her for now as she is a means to an end. I want to seek entry into Ranbir's life and office and then takeover his company. Once I accomplish that I will throw Mallika out of the office too. What is your plan to destroy Ranbir with Mallika's help? I am figuring the plan out with Mallika currently. I will offer Ranbir a business proposal soon and for the rest, just wait and watch. Is there any enmity between Ranbir and you? Not really. Ranbir's company is just a business deal for me and I am looking at a cool profit just like any other businessman. My aim is to make money through his already established company. What do you like about Yeh Ishq Haaye? I really like the fact that this show is a youth based show. Not just that, the makers have presented the show in a modern format unlike the regular saas–bahu dramas. Do you think taking revenge from Akshay will solve all your problems in life? I am only concerned about my goals, my business, profit and loss. Later in the show, when you understand about my personal problem with Akshay, you will realise my motives too. Have you ever encountered a similar situation personally? In real life, we always face such situations and I feel one must be always ready to deal with some ugly situations. At this moment, I can't really think of examples. How is it working with your new co-stars? It's nice to work with a new team and co-stars. I have worked with Raunaq in my first show and it was nice shooting with him again. Every actor on the sets is very professional in their work. I am enjoying my work a lot. What do you like about STAR One shows and why? All their shows are youth oriented which I feel is unique selling point of the channel and let's STAR One stand out from other channels on television. I love to watch Yeh Ishq Haaye and I like Geet-Hui Sabse Parayi for their presentation.
