Manjari and Akshay are riding on Akshay's scooter and Manjari keeps complaining about how slow he was driving.
She tells him to stop the scooter and takes his spot. While they're driving, they meet with an accident with a rich guy, who turns out to be Ranbir Malhotra.
Ranbir starts to write a cheque for Akshay's scooter's damage but Akshay stops him.
Akshay gets a call from his boss telling him to get the order to the customer in 5 minutes or else he was fired.
Ranbir offers to drop them off. While they're in the car, Ranbir asks them why they were still in Mumbai.
Manjari explains that she wanted to prove to everyone that she wasn't dependent on anyone. Akshay was still there because he wanted to be there for Manjari as a friend.
Manjari complains about how it was impossible to find a job or a house. Ranbir also lets them know that if they ever needed help, they just had to ask.
Akshay tries to start his scooter but isn't able to and then Manjari tries. Akshay watches her smiling.
Unable to start the scooter, they walk it. Suddenly she stops and tells him that no one will give them a lift if he's around.
Manjari walks over to a Singh and acts all desi and also pretends to be Punjabi. The Singh agrees to give her a ride.
Manjari brags about how she was amazing at getting a ride. Manjari hopes to never become a part of someone's dream so they're dreams aren't shattered like hers. Manjari teases Akshay. Manjari also admits that she named him "Gambir Singh".
Manjari gets up and feels the wind against her face. She tells him that if he's not Gambir Singh, then he should come where she is. Akshay gets up in a trance. He asks her if she'll not call him Gambir Singh anymore and she answers saying she'll think about it.
