PART ONE

It was a slow sunday and Akshay decided to stay home and assign someone else to look after the restaurant for just one day. He didn't feel like meeting anyone or going anywhere. Ever since he realized Manjari never thought of him as more than a friend, its like his life had fallen in to a mechanical completion of a mundane routine. He went in to a shell and his mother feared that he would close up one day and never come back. Her heart ached for her son and wished there was something she could do to make him smile, but there wasnt. There was nothing she could do coz she knew her son well. So she decided it was best to not disturb him whenever he wanted to be alone.

Ajay had now became great friends with Manjari and he felt like maybe there can be more than friendship between them! They argued and fought n played pranks for months before finally realizing that they can actually get along great and be amazing friends. He had started seeing her differently recently and it made his heart race! The possibility of being more than a friend to her made him feel on top of the world. He was happy after a long time....he was finally starting to forget about his past

Ajay had spent that morning with Manjari helping her find a gift for Ammu's birthday. He came home whistling a happy tune...and Akshay was happy that Ajay was finally becoming less angry n more pleasant.

Akshay - "Bhot khush nazar aa rahe ho...kya baat hai"

Ajay - "haan bro..main abhi abhi manjari k saath shopping karke aaya hu Ammu k birthday k liye"

Hearing her name made Akshay frown for a sec...he pushed his hurt back inside and tried hard genuinely cheerful...but he was far from it.

Ajay - "Bro...patah nahi mujhe kya ho raha hai....mujhe kabhi nahi laga tha k manjari ka saath mujhe itna accha lagega"

Thats when it hit akshay: Ajay was falling in love with Manjari.

Akshay - "Woh hai hi aisi k koi bhi usse pyar karne lage"

Ajay - "Kya?"

Akshay - "Mera matlab hai ki....sabko uska saath accha lagta hai. Woh ek bhot acchi ladki hai"

Ajay - "haan bro...isliye main usse dukh nahi dena chahta...main khud ko sudharna chahta hu....usse bharosa dena chahta hu k main hamesha uska saath dunga....lekin....."

Akshay - "lekin kya"

Ajay - "Lekin yeh sab main kaise karu ...mujhe samajh mein nahi aa raha....uski pasand na pasand....yeh sab k baare mein main kuch bhi nahi janta"

Akshay - "Mujhe yakeen hai...tu jo bhi dil se karega...woh usko zarur pasand aayega" He smiles weakly n places an encouraging hand on his shoulder and immediately looks away to hide his moist eyes.

Ajay - "Nahi bhai...mujhe kuch aisa karna hai jisse uska dil khush ho jaye.."

Ajay turns to his brother for support as he realizes how close Akshay and Manjari are as friends.

Ajay - "Aap aur manjari toh bhot acche dost hai na bhai"

Akshay cant help but smile at that word "dost". A reminder of how he would always be JUST the friend. He turns n smiles at Ajay

Akshay - "haan..kyu?"

Ajay - "Mujhe aapki madad chahiye bhai...aap manjari ko itne saalo se jante ho...aap yeh bhi jante honge ki usko kya pasand hai kya nahi...please meri help karo?"

Akshay - "Ajay...main kaise....i mean kyun.....mene kaha na....tum jo bi karoge usko pasand aayega"

Ajay - "Please bhai....please meri help karo"

Akshay is reluctant but at the same time he knew this was his chance to help his brother have the happiness that he couldnt have in the past n lead a normal life.

Akshay - "Thik hai...main tumhe help karunga"

I'm freaked out too. I am not even watching this show unless they start showing some nice akshari moments again...
