Everyone was frustrated when Abrar reposted a picture with his girlfriend and then people started mocking them and talked about how is career is not going to advance any further, etc.

I want you guys to know, there are a lot of leads who are too busy to reply to their fans or are reluctant to share anything about their show on their stories or feeds, that's quite normal because social media can cause a strain in personal relationships, we all have experienced it at one point or another. Anyways, yes we all are disappointed since he didn't post the picture of the cake or a post thanking the fans because it's his personal choice. We as fans feel disheartened, I can feel you guys but that doesn't give you the right to stoop down and mock him and his girlfriend or talk about not appreciating his acting. If he doesn't want to share pictures with sargun, it is his choice, we cannot force him to, can we? And moreover their friendship isn't defined by pictures, we all can see how lively they are in the sbs segments so why are we complaining about him having a strained relationship with Sargun when we know that they're comfortable with each others company.

We complement him because he puts in his heart and soul into the scenes unlike other leads, so why hate onto him because of a repost? Why abuse and troll him over his personal life? It is irksome for the fandoms too and a personal request, if you are disappointed there is absolutely no need to trigger other fans. If they don't know about anything, let it be like that.

Perosnally, I think our fandom is doing an amazing job handling this “mess.”

@blue- See the thing that triggered fans was him posting multiple stories today but couldn’t even post one story thanking fans. Again, we know he doesn’t have to and isn’t obligated to but it certainly did hurt the fans who poured their heart and soul into trending on twitter and sending cakes. We aren’t asking him to be like Sargun and to go message fans individually who sent the cakes and personally thank them or to partake in YHC groupchats and be active there as well. A simple thank you i don’t think is too much to ask. I agree the bashing is wrong but I hardly came across any bashing posts. Only saw fans experiencing their disappointment in groupchats.

@bold - word! 👍🏼

As far as fandoms go, YHC fandom is one of the most mature I have seen.

@TM - Frankly, expecting a few social media posts and live segments isn't too much to ask considering the show just hit 150 episodes which is a big milestone. Itna toh supporting characters bhi kar dete hai and he is the lead here. Plus, it's not as if Abrar is social media agnostic, he is just YHC agnostic and if fans call him out on that, he should be able to take it in stride instead of being immature and letting it further affect his professionalism.

Extremely well put and couldn’t agree more! I know some celebrities who aren’t too active on social media like Harshad Chopda, Aditi Rathore,and etc. and if Abrar was like that then fans would understand. However, Abrar is certainly not considering the fact that he even had time to record and post videos with Ahana and Mishika today and posts with other people. Everything aside, fans expecting one story not even a post isn’t too much at all.

I know plenty of people losing interest in the show after seeing Abrar’s offscreen behavior. I know that’s pretty pathetic but they find it hard to even watch the character of Rudra without associating with Abrar’s offscreen acts and I don’t totally blame them for that. We aren’t even asking for a picture with Sargun anymore. Just some respect for fans.

Also forgot to say. Kindly take a look at Abrar’s instagram page. You will find that during his previous shows times his page was filled with back to back posts of him and Shruti. Is it wrong to expect even 1-2% of that promotion here. He made a thank you post alone for their 100 episode. We got nothing. Zero. It’s not just a couple of his actions that are making people mad. It’s pretty much all of his offscreen actions over the months cumulated together. 😊

Yes correct pointed out ...the more we are asking for offscreen pic ...more he is making us jealous...also he is riding high with the praises he is getting on SM for his performance....He is actually very rude and has some kind of attitude problem ...he is not down to earth

See that’s something I can’t really agree with since I don’t know him as a person and I don’t want to use social media to judge him. My only concern is him not showing us fans the same respect and love we give to him. Fans have been patient with him for months. How much longer can they wait and be patient? Everyone has a breaking point and looks like some fans have neared theirs and hence pouring out their frustration.

My heart goes out to Sargun cause she seems to be doing all the promotion when it comes to their couple. I think I saw 3-4 Rusha posts on her story today. In addition, she privately messaged the fan who sent the cake and thanked her! How sweet.

My love and respect for Sargun is slowly increasing these days whereas I can’t help but lose some respect for Abrar.

See you and I have no idea about how many people bashed him in his comments section or dms. He has always been like that, he didn't do anything great on 100th episode too, it was Sargun who posted a picture, it has always been sargun pleasing the fans. We always go through the same cycle of disappointment from him so what is the point stressing over that and yes our fandom has always done a great job in handling this mess.

I have been part of fandoms where the leads weren't even bothered to put up the promos on their feed because of a relationship or because they were married, social media insecurity is what most of the actors faces. It is annoying and irritating for me too but then again he will overlook all of it so we are just wasting our energy on nothing.
