Hi all,

So looking at current track, just wanted to understand what is the allure of portraying a Kabir Singh type aggressive, angry young man type character which is common all over TV?

What is so interesting and TRP inducing about ML being abusive to FL. What was so exciting about Rudraksh pinning Preesha to the wall & then the ol' trick of kapde fatna 😆

CVs seem to be using these tracks for TRPs, which in itself is a reflection of audience?

What exactly is the poignancy being shown ?

It always used to work with TRP audience, even I don't know why, it's a long running trend in ITV😆 Not just TRP audience, even some of most hit Jodi's in the past decade had MCP hero's.. and they smh become hit.. there used to be social media overreaction for all these hero's and scenes.. but the fact remains such shows, Jodi's and even Kabir Singh film are a hit with Indian audience.. Writers produce shows according to consumer demand & this is a result of such a demand..

Actually it is not so much that people enjoy Kabir Singh as he bring about reaction....good or bad. You will have a reaction to that character. Now if you have someone who was absolutely amazing and wonderful and everything that you could have asked for and more in ML who turns into Kabir Singh, there is need in humans to understand why his happened, and how it can be undone and how we can bring him back to perfection or lack of chaos mode. So you can’t accept the story is done until that is resolve and you want to see it resolve because the good guy can’t lost and good guy can’t turn villain. So audience wants to see him back to his natural state.

Then on other side we have this intense need to protect the weak and underdog. Most of the audience is female and they know that if the FL is in trouble we will connect with them because other females will be emphatic to her issues and see ourselves in her place and want her out of it. We can’t end the story until we see her cross the line and be back to safety and happiness. Now the more she is tormented, the more the character draws on our emotions.

Right now we have double whammy of attack as result. Both ML and FL to ensure that we don’t feel like leaving the story in middle. We want to see the end.

Also happy ending seems most satisfying to us humans and when it comes at the end of lot of pain, that happy ending seems sweeter somehow....relative comparisons....so they hold that as Carrot for us to watch the track and given them engagement and high trp.

Honestly, I don't know. And this constant glorification of them infuriates me. This whole 'broken-yet-good-guy-who-needs-ladylove-to-fix-him' trope is so done to the death.

The worst part is Kabir Singh type characters are passed off in the name of passionate and intense lovers and audiences, women especially, go crazy. This is an extremely unhealthy trend and needs to stop.

I am not saying that don't portray such characters because obviously real life is not all rosy. Please do portray flawed and problematic characters but how the scrip deals with him is the key. Preesha not retaliating is sending the wrong message. It's undertone is that what Rudraksh is doing is not right but not entirely wrong either, placing him somewhere in the grey zone. THIS IS NOT GREY. Any person or action which takes away a woman's agency can never be grey. It's plain and simple incorrect.

exactly

Both Rudraksh & preesha never tried to sort out their Mu's

Hence just because of this Mu's & secrets created trust issues between them.

Preesha is still hiding soo many things from Rudraksh

Today I saw that episode where Rahul had shown that preesha's video to Rudraksh.

I just thought that Rudraksh saw preesha in compromising situation that's why he is calling her characterless

Bt uss video mein aisa kuch bhi nahi hai

Infact uss video mein toh preesha ka chehra bhi thik se nahi dikh rha hai

Through voice modulation & voice dubbing apps everything is possible so yes that preesha's voice in video is also dubbed.

Rudraksh is a singer soo he should know about all this technological features related to voice.or he knows about all this things bt still he blindly believed on Rahul's I pad video.

Yuvhul manipulated & fooled Rudraksh sooo badly through the help of preesha's fake video 😡

When Rudraksh tored that preesha's clothes

After watching that scene I was like

Bass itna SA?? Belt nikalo aur preesha Ko acche se pito

Ab bass yahi toh dekhna baaki reh gya hai😡

YHC makers have nothing left to show in this serial.

Do they really think that such torture scenes will move story forward??or this is just unnecessary dragging & stretching??

This is beyond pathetic behaviour on Rudraksh’s part. I really liked him, so much. But after today’s episode his character has begun to disgust me.

Ripping her clothes, holding her hand this horribly, and ruining her career. Over a video his enemy showed him.

Gaslighting this kind of behaviour or finding it “hot” is honestly so toxic.
