Hello everyone...

I'm back with the next chapter...

FATE TWISTED BY LOVE

CHAPTER 4

Nanu knew that none of them would agree to marriage. But what surprised him more was that Naina had rejected the proposal outright. When they were in the study room, she had left the decision on his grandson & now he was sure that Sameer had misbehaved with her & hurt her, or else she wouldn't have been the first one to reject this.

Nanu was aware that she would've accepted this marriage for the sake of her Nanaji's promise. But now he was apprehensive, he understood that Sameer had no doubt crossed his lines with her. The girl who had finally started smiling from the last few days forgetting her past looked more broken & vulnerable now. He had seen her packed luggage which meant she had decided & was ready to leave as well.

What had Sameer done to her? He felt guilty now that he left them alone in the evening. He should've known that his grandson would definitely create some scene behind his back. After hearing Naina's verdict, no one spoke anything. She left to her room while Sameer sighed & walked off after few minutes.

Nanu too got up & went to the kitchen to drink some water. From last few days he was feeling uneasy & was having a little pain in his chest which he overlooked & didn't visit the doctor. He had just picked up the glass when suddenly the chest pain increased & he fall down with a thud, the glass he was holding also slipped from his hand, whose sound echoed in the whole silent house.

Ramdhari heard the voice & came running to the kitchen assuming that some rat would've entered. But the sight in front of him froze him to his place for a few seconds & then he screamed on top of his voice, "Sameer Bhaiyaa... Naina didi... Jaldi aaiye. Dekhiye Nanaji ko kya ho gaya hai."

Ramdhari's sudden scream rattled the other two & they came down running. The scene they saw was of pure shock. Sameer was instantly next to Nanu & with the help of Ramdhari, they picked him up & placed him on the couch, while Naina had immediately called the doctor & the ambulance too.

Naina sat down near the couch & started rubbing his palms & foot. Sameer kept staring at his lifeline who was unconscious & motionless in front of his eyes. He had always dreaded this. He didn't have anyone in his life except for Nanu & Munna-Pandit. How would he stay alive if anything happens to anyone of them?

Within ten minutes, they heard the sound of the ambulance. At the precise moment, the doctor also stepped in the house in a hurry & checked him. They immediately left towards the hospital. Sameer sat in the ambulance with his Nanu while Naina & Ramdhari followed the ambulance in an autorickshaw. Naina kept mumbling some prayers to God in a low voice while Ramdhari kept crying.

The scene in the ambulance wasn't any different. Sameer held his Nanu's hand & cried, "Nanu... Please apni aankhen kholiye. Dekhiye aapka Sameer aapke paas hai. Aap... aap... aise mujhe chod kar nahi jaa sakte. Aap mujhe anaath nahi kar sakte Nanu. Uthiye na Nanu... Please uthiye na. Mera koi nahi hai aapke sivaa. Agar aapko kuch ho gaya toh main firse akela ho jaunga. Mera koi nahi Nanu aapke siva... Please uthiye na Nanu... Please uthiye naa."

The doctor who was hearing this, tried to console him, "Sameer... Tum fikar mat karo. Hum hospital jaa rahe hai na, sab thik ho jaayega. Tum rona band karo. Tumhare Nanu ko accha nahi lagega yeh jaankar ki tum itna ro rahe the. Isse tumhari tabiyat bhi bigad sakti hai. Tumhe himmat rakhni hogi Sameer. Nanu jald thik ho jaayenge."

They reached the hospital & Nanu was taken to the emergency room. Sameer, Naina & Ramdhari stood outside the door waiting for the doctor to get some news about him. Whilst they were waiting, Sameer's phone rang & he picked it up instantly after seeing the caller's name.

"Munna... Main... main hospital mein hun. Nanu... Nanu ko kuch ho gaya hai. Tu jaldi aa jaa please." He cut the call & slipped down on the floor. Naina saw his broken state & was next to him in an instant. Her hands trembled while she rubbed her hand behind his back to sooth his pain. She too was crying silently, praying to God to save the person whom she had started to treat as her own Nanaji, who was her family now.

Sameer didn't say a word but continued crying. She helped him to get up & made him sit on the chair. Munna & Pandit arrived in the next few minutes & were sad to see Sameer in this pained state. They hugged him & all the three cried & prayed for their Nanu who was battling for his life in the emergency room.

It was after an hour that the doctor came out from the room & Sameer was next to him in a flash, "Doctor... Nanu... Nanu kaise hai ab? Main... kya main mil sakta hun unse?" The doctor silently patted his back & spoke, "Jaiprakashji ko heart attack aaya tha. It was a major one. Unki reports kuch der mein aa jaayengi. Main tab hi kuch thik se bataa paaunga. Abhi toh wohh stable hai. Main bas reports ka intezaar kar raha hun. Sameer... Chinta mat karo. Everything will be fine." He patted his back & left towards his cabin.

Naina had heard everything & unable to control the fresh tears that were ready to burst, she ran in the opposite direction. When she reached the end of the corridor, she saw a small temple of Shiva at the corner. She sat down in front of the deity & started sobbing. "Aap please Nanaji ko kuch mat hone dijiyega. Pehle hi main sab ko kho chuki hun, ab unhe nahi kho sakti. Please... please... please Shivji... unhe thik kar dijiye. Ab Nanaji ke alaawa mere koi nahi hai. Unhe jaldi se thik kar dijiye. Please... Agar wohh thik ho gaye na tohh main agle gyaaraah somvaar upwaas karungi. Please unhe jaldi se thik kar dijiye." She kept sobbing continuously. Unknown to her, all her prayers were heard by the others who stood behind her to offer their prayers too.

It was after an hour or so, Sameer was called by the doctor. The others had followed him to the doctor's cabin. "Sameer... Jaiprakashji ke heart mein teen blockages hai. Hume jaldi se surgery karni hogi. Warna unki jaan ko khatra hai. Tum samaj rahe ho na." Sameer stood there stunned to hear all this. They would operate a surgery on his Nanu. This news didn't settle well with him. He had never imagined that something like this would happen to his Nanu.

"Doctor... Kya surgery ke baad Nanu bilkul thik ho jaayenge? Unhe kuch hoga toh nahi na?", he asked with a heavy heart. The doctor replied calmly, "Sameer... Surgery ke baad tumhare Nanu ekdum thik ho jaayenge. Unhe poora aaram karna hoga aur bas unke khaane mein dhyaan rakhna hoga, aur sabse important unhe zara sa bhi stress nahi hona chahiye. Unka acche se khayaal rakhna hoga. And then he will be fit & fine."

"Surgery kab karni hai?", he asked the doctor. "Humne hamare best cardiothoracic surgeon, Dr Sanjay Joshi, ko inform kar diya hai, wohh kal subah aa jaayenge. Unse consultation ke baad hum surgery kab karni hai decide kar lenge. Don't worry Sameer... Jaiprakashji jald hi thik ho jaayenge." "Ummm... Kya main unhe ek baar dekh sakta hun?", he wanted to have a glimpse of his Nanu. "Unhe ICU mein shift kar diya hai. Wohh abhi hosh mein nahi hai, toh tum dekh sakte ho."

Everyone left the cabin & Sameer walked towards the ICU slowly. He had never seen his Nanu on the hospital bed. This was all new to him. He stood before the room & inhaled deeply, & opened the door slightly. The sight in front of him brought fresh tears in his eyes & he hesitated before moving ahead. Once inside, he saw his Nanu sleeping on the bed & innumerable machines surrounded him. Few tubes were pricked on both his hands & an oxygen mask had covered his nose & mouth for breathing.

His heart broke after seeing his always jovial Nanu in this situation. He cried silently & then sat on the stool beside the bed. He kept looking at his serene face & promised himself that he would do anything for this man who was his world. After few minutes, the nurse entered & asked him to wait outside. He moved away from his Nanu with a heavy heart. Once outside, he sat down with a thud & started sobbing. Though Munna & Pandit were crying too, but still they consoled him all the while. They knew how much their best friend loved his Nanu.

Naina was seated a little away from them & was crying along. Mundit had asked Ramdhari to go home & take care of the house. No one slept a wink the whole night. The surgeon arrived early next morning & checked all the reports. He informed Sameer that the surgery would be done the same day as his blood pressure seemed normal. Nanu was conscious now so he asked the doctor if he could meet Sameer & Naina before his surgery.

Sameer & Naina entered the ICU together. She was stepping in this room for the first time. She couldn't control the tears that made its way & she wept in front of him. Seeing her Nanaji on that bed with so many tubes & machines, her heart broke million of times. Sameer who was standing next to her also couldn't stop himself from crying.

Few tears rolled down from Nanu's eyes too. He gestured both of them to come ahead & spoke softly, "Bacchon... Main thik hun. Daro mat, mujhe kuch nahi hoga." He smiled a little & continued, "Abhi toh mujhe Jayanti se kiya hua vaada poora karna hai. Tum dono ki shaadi dekhni hai, tumhare bacchon ke saath khelna hai. Mujhe kuch nahi hoga." He started coughing a little & the nurse arrived with two ward boys at the same moment. "Chaliye ab surgery ka time ho gaya hai. Hume inhe operation theatre le jaana hai."

Sameer & Naina left the room without a word. Once they sat in front of the operation theatre, they both looked at each other. They wanted to talk but no words came out. They sat there silently & Mundit went to bring coffees for them. It was after four hours when the door to the operation theatre opened & the doctors came out. "Sameer... the surgery was successful. Ab Jaiprakashji khatre se baahar hai. He's stable now. Anesthesia ki wajah se unhe shaam tak hosh nahi aayega. Tum sab ghar jao. Fresh hokar shaam ko aa jaana. Tab tak unhe hosh bhi aa jaayega.", the surgeon shared.

"Main apne Nanu ko chodkar kahi nahi jaaunga.", Sameer sat down on the chair stubbornly. His friends gestured the doctor that they will take care of him & then the doctor left informing them that he will come to check on Nanu in sometime. Munna & Pandit sat at either side of their friend, "Dekh Sameer... Hum samajte hai ki tu Nanaji ko aisi haalat mein akela nahi chodna chahta. Par unki dekhbhaal karne ke liye tujhe bhi toh apni tabiyat aur sehat ka khayaal rakhna hoga. Agar Nanaji tujhe aisa toota hua dekhenge toh unhe bilkul accha nahi lagega." Pandit continued, "Sahi keh raha hai Chenu. Sameer... Tum fresh hokar firse aa jaana. Hum kahaan keh rahe hai ki tu ghar pe hi ruk jaana. Hum jaante hai ki tu ek minute bhi ghar par nahi rukega."

Sameer didn't move & finally Naina came forward, "Dekhiye... Aap sab ghar jaakar fresh hokar aa jaiyega, tab tak main hun yahaan. Aapke aane ke baad mein bhi ghar chali jaungi. Doctor ne kahaa tha na ki Nanaji ko shaam tak hosh aayega. Toh please tab tak aap ghar hokar aaiye. Main yahaan rukungi." Munna pressed his shoulder & he got up, "Agar kuch lage toh turant call karna mujhe. Main ek ghante mein waapis aa jaunga."

Without giving a backward glance to her, he left with his friends. Pandit dropped him home & they went to their places. As promised, Sameer was back in an hour. He saw Naina sitting outside the ICU. He walked to her & sat beside her, "Tum bhi ghar jao. Kal raat se yahin ho.", he spoke softly seeing her tear-stained face. She just nodded & left.

When she reached home, she asked Ramdhari to pack tiffin for them as they would stay in the hospital. She freshened up fast & helped him in the kitchen. She was back in the hospital in two hours. She spotted Munna-Pandit sitting next to Sameer. They saw her coming & smiled at her except Sameer. He looked away with a blank face. She handed over the tiffin to Munna & asked them to eat.

Munna & Pandit dragged Sameer to the canteen & served him a plate. He denied several times but they didn't listen & then they themselves started feeding their stubborn friend. They finished eating & came back. Pandit handed over the tiffin to her & asked, "Tumne kuch khaaya Naina?" She didn't reply & smiled in response. Before he could say more, the doctor was back to check on Nanu. They hurried towards the ICU when the doctor stopped them, "Aap abhi andar nahi aa sakte." Saying that, he disappeared in the room. After fifteen minutes, they saw him coming out & rushed forward, "Doctor... Kya Nanu ko hosh aa gaya", Sameer asked impatiently.

"Thodi der mein hosh aa jaayega. Tumhare Nanu bilkul thik hai ab. Fikar mat karo. Bas ab acche se dhyaan rakhna. Dekho Sameer... Itne saare log yahaan nahi ruk sakte. Sirf do logon ko main allow kar sakta hun. Jaiprakashji ko hosh aane ke baad aap sab ek ek karke mil lena. Aur unse aisi koi baat mat karna jisse unhe thoda bhi stress ya tension ho. Unke saamne bilkul rona mat. Unhe pyaar ki zarurat hai, aansoon ki nahi. Samjhe tum sab."

Once the doctor left, the nurse entered the room. It was almost over three hours that she informed them that Nanu had regained his consciousness & we could meet him one by one. First Sameer went, then Munna & Pandit & at last Naina went. When she came out, she heard them talking about who would stay the night. Sameer wasn't ready to go home, Mundit tried to make him understand that he too needed rest. But he wasn't listening.

Naina went forward & spoke, "Munna... Pandit... Tum dono ghar jao. Hum yahaan rukenge." Before they could say anything, she spoke, "Tum dono kal raat se yahaan ho. Tumhe kal office bhi jaana hoga na. Sab yahin rukenge toh kaam kaun sambhaalega. Tum dono jao. Hum yahaan sab sambhaal lenge. Please manaa mat karna." Her voice was too low to be heard as she didn't have any energy left to talk anymore. She pleaded with her eyes & they agreed.

Once they were gone, Naina sat two chairs away from him. She rested her head on the wall behind her & closed her eyes. The moment her eyes closed; everything came back in flashbacks. She tried to understand whatever happened in the last few days. She had seen Nanaji's uneasiness. She had even asked him several times but he had neglected it saying it was nothing. Then the whole promise thing happened in the study room. After that she had seen him anxious about their decisions.

Last night, she couldn't tell him that his grandson had hurt her by accusing her of being characterless & a gold-digger. He had hurt her self-respect & dignity & that was the reason she had rejected the marriage proposal. Even if her both the Nanaji's wanted her to marry Sameer for fulfilling their promise, she couldn't allow him to degrade her like that. The accusations were still fresh in her mind.

Her thoughts wavered, "Kal raat shaadi se manaa karne ke baad Nanaji ki tabiyat bigad gayi. Kahin yeh sab mere wajah se toh nahi ho raha? Kya Nanaji ko iss shaadi se itna farak padta hai? Haannn... Farak toh padega na, aakhir unhone mere Nanaji se promise jo kiya tha." She was now feeling guilty about her action last night.

Her thoughts broke, when she heard someone clearing his throat. Her eyes opened in an instant to find Sameer standing in front of her with a tiffin bag. He cleared his throat again & spoke, "Ummmm... Wohhh Ramdhari aaya tha tiffin leke hamare liye. Toh tum bhi kuch kha lo." She looked at the tiffin first & then at him, "Mujhe bhook nahi hai. Aap hi kha lo." He didn't move & stood his ground there. She looked at him again & raised her eyebrows in question. He took a deep breath & spoke, "Naina... Tumne kal se kuch nahi khaaya hai. Sirf aaj do baar coffee pi hai. Please thoda sa khaa lo. Dekho... Tum khao yaa na khao, usse mujhe koi farak nahi padta. Par Nanu ko zaroor farak padta hai. Unke liye hi kha lo. Tumhari utri hui shakal dekhkar unhe pataa chal jaayega ki tumne kuch nahi khaaya peeya hoga. Aur wohh mujhe hi daantenge iske liye. Nanu ke liye hi sahi, please thoda sa kha lo."

She didn't argue further & agreed. They walked towards the canteen & finished their dinner quietly. Nanu was shifted from the ICU to a personal room in the next two days. Sameer & Naina stayed in the hospital all the time. They went home only to freshen up & would be back in an hour. Ramdhari kept delivering tiffin for them twice a day & would come to visit Nanu in the visiting hours with Munna & Pandit. They had taken over the office work completely as Sameer couldn't make it to office. They would come to take his signatures whenever needed.

But nothing changed between Sameer & Naina. They would talk to each other only when it was essential. They would eat in silence & they would meet Nanu one by one. They never went together to meet Nanu. Maybe they knew what Nanu would ask them to do & they weren't ready to face this so soon.

Sameer had thought a lot about all this. He too somewhere felt guilty that he couldn't take proper care of Nanu. He knew & understood that the promise made between the two best friends was very important to him. This marriage seemed inevitable for him. He knew once Nanu would get back home, he would ask them to tie the knot.

But then he would remember Nanu's condition in the hospital. Doctor had asked them to keep him away from stress & tensions. Sameer knew he would've to reluctantly agree to this. Even Naina had the idea about it. Even she knew now that she would give in to her Nanaji's promise after seeing him in the ICU bed. She would never think of hurting the old man now. She promised herself that she would do anything for Nanaji, if it even meant to marry his arrogant grandson, keeping her self-respect at stake.

Nanu was discharged from the hospital after ten days. He was much better now. The doctors had given a long list of do's & don'ts. Once home, many people from the company & his friends visited him to enquire about his health. Sameer worked from home while Naina & Ramdhari would take care of his diet & eating habits.

Both of them were a little relieved that Nanu hadn't broached the topic about marriage yet. But the relief didn't last long. It was after two days after Nanu's return from the hospital that he asked while having dinner together, "Sameer... Naina... Tum dono ne kya socha hai shaadi ke baare mein?"

Both of them glanced at each other & Sameer took the lead, "Nanu... Aap pehle thik ho jaaiye fir hum iss baare mein baat karenge." But the grandfather wasn't ready to give up so soon, "Arey barkhurdaar... Main toh ab bilkul thik hun." Sameer closed his eyes & thought for a while before speaking, "Thik hai Nanu... Main Naina se shaadi karne ke liye taiyaar hun. Par meri ek shart hai."

The moment the words were out, Naina felt a deep hurt in her heart. She knew what was coming up. They had already discussed it two days ago.

FLASHBACK...

They had just arrived from the hospital with Nanu & he was taken to his room to rest. He was sleeping when Naina went to her room to freshen up. She had just stepped out from her bathroom after a long shower, when there was a knock on the door. "Darwaaza khula hai.", she said assuming that Ramdhari had come to give her a cup of tea. As the door opened, she turned & she lost her voice.

Sameer was standing in front of her in a white t-shirt & black trackpants. Her eyes met his & she lowered them instantly, "Kahiye... Kuch kaam tha?" She turned away to face the mirror & started to untie the towel from her head. He entered the room & stood behind her. Their gazes clashed in the mirror. "Mujhe tumse important baat karni hai.", he spoke in a low voice.

She turned facing him "Kahiye..." She didn't want to prolong his stay in her room & so she wanted to wind up the conversation as fast as she could. He took a minute before replying, "Nanu ab ghar aa gaye hai aur hum jyada time tak shaadi ka topic avoid nahi kar paayenge. Aaj nahi toh kal, Nanu humse fir poochenge. Doctor ne kahaa hai ki hume unhe kisi tarah ka stress nahi dena chahiye. Toh main soch raha tha ki..." he stopped trying to find some courage to complete what he was going to propose to her.

"Kya socha hai aapne?", she asked hesitantly. He took a deep breath & continued, "Mujhe lagta hai ki hume shaadi ke liye maan jaana chahiye. Par main chahta hun ki hamari shaadi dhum dhaam se na ho. Main simple si court marriage karna chahta hun, jisme koi invited nahi hoga. It will be a personal affair. Kisi ko pataa nahi chalega ki hamari shaadi hui hai. Par shaadi se pehle main chahta hun ki tum ek prenuptial agreement sign karo. I hope tumhe iska matlab pataa hoga."

Naina couldn't believe her ears. What was he speaking? She didn't comment anything but just nodded & he continued, "Jab Nanu ki tabiyat pehle jaisi normal ho jaayegi tab hum divorce le lenge." She stood stunned after hearing his conditions. Yes... She was ready to marry him. It didn't matter even if it was a simple court marriage. Even the prenuptial agreement was fine with her. But divorce? Was she ready for that? She needed to think this thoroughly.

"Main aapko raat tak jawaan dun toh chalega?", her voice broke at the end but she somehow managed to control the tears that were on the verge to burst. He just nodded & was about to leave, when he turned again "Mujhe yeh kehne ki zarurat nahi hai ki yeh sab sirf hamare beech mein hi rahe." She blinked her eyes in acceptance & he left.

She thought about it a lot. She had got admission in the University & the classes would start from next month. Even if she had to divorce after a year of marriage, she needed to have sufficient savings so that she could move out once the divorce happens. It was very much obvious that she couldn't stay here after that. After lot of thinking, she decided to take a part time job & would earn for herself. She would manage studies & job alternatively. At least by the end of the year, she would have enough to feed herself & stay in a girl's hostel.

After deciding about how she would live her life after divorce, she came to a final decision. That night after dinner, she knocked at his door & gave her reply. She was ready for whatever conditions he had placed before her.

FLASHBACK ENDS...

"Kaisi shart?", Nanu asked hesitantly. Sameer looked at him & smiled, "Nanu... dekhiye aapki abhi tabiyat itni bhi acchi nahi hai ki hum shaadi dhum dhaam se kar sake. Abhi aapko koi stress ya tensions nahi lene chahiye. Isliye humne decide kiya hai ki hum court marriage kar lenge abhi. Fir jab aap ekdum thik ho jaayenge pehle jaise, tab hum dhum dhaam se fir se shaadi kar lenge. Toh meri yahi shart hai ki hum abhi court marriage karenge. Jyada bhid bhaad nahi chahiye abhi Nanu."

Nanu looked at her, "Naina... Tum iss ke liye taiyaar ho?" She nodded with a smile, "Haann Nanaji... Isme kuch galat nahi hai. Aap jaisa chahte the waisa toh ho hi raha hai, hum shaadi kar rahe hai. Aapka aur Nanaji ka vaada bhi poora ho jaayega. Fir toh koi tension nahi na. Vaada shaadi ka tha, fir wohh kaise bhi ho, usse kya farak padta hai. Hum shaadi ke bandhan mein toh bandh hi jaayenge na."

Even if she said all that with a smile, only she knew what would happen once he was fine as before. She had killed all her dreams that she wanted for her marriage as it didn't seem important to her anymore. She knew she won't get happiness from this marriage. She was doing it only for Nanaji's sake.

Nanu could see that something was wrong but he couldn't pinpoint anything. Something was there before his eyes, but he wasn't able to see it clearly. But nonetheless, he was happy that finally both of them agreed for marriage. That was more important at that time. How the marriage was going to happen didn't matter to him at all.

"Chalo... Jaisa tum chaaho. Agar tum dono chaahte ho ki shaadi court mein ho, toh wohi sahi." His eyes misted & he spoke, "Jayanti... Hamara vaada poora hone jaa raha hai. Hamare bacche shaadi karne jaa rahe hai. Main bohot khush hun aaj. Bohot bohot khush. Arey Ramdhari... Kuch meetha toh laa. Itni acchi khushkhabri ke baad thoda meetha toh banta hi hai na."

He fed the gajar halwa that was prepared that day to Sameer & Naina & took them in a hug, blessing them wholeheartedly. Ramdhari too was ecstatic after hearing the marriage thing.

That night all the three couldn't sleep as each of them felt differently about the marriage. Nanu was happy that finally his grandson was ready to marry while his grandson was preparing a list of what should be included in the prenuptial agreement. The scene in Naina's room was altogether different.

She was sitting on her bed with her diary,

Hiii Diary...

Sorry bohot dino se tumse baat nahi kar paayi. Khair chodo... Main aaj jo kehne jaa rahi hun yeh baat sirf hamare beech hi rehni chaiye huh. Samjhi...

Hamari shaadi court mein hogi. Aur usse pehle mujhe ek prenuptial agreement sign karna hoga. Pataa nahi kya kya conditions honge usme. Khair chodo mujhe usse koi farak nahi padta. Jab Nanaji thik ho jaayenge na poori tarah, uske baad hamara divorce ho jaayega. Hum alag ho jaayenge.

Pataa nahi iss baat se mujhe itna kyun farak padd raha hai. Tum jaanti ho mere bhi sab ladkiyon ki tarah shaadi ke sapne the. Haldi, mehendi, sangeet, yeh sab rasmein dhum dhaam se manana chahti thi. Mera dulha safed ghodi pe sawaar hokar mujhe lene aayega. Mera pati mujhse bohot pyaar karega, meri bohot izzat karega, mujhe bohot khush rakhega, meri har khwaaish poori karega. Kitne saare sapne the mere.

Par main bhool gayi ki sab ke sapne poore nahi hote aur khaas kar mere toh kabhi nahi. Mera koi apna hai hi nahi jisse main yeh sab bataa paaun, isliye tumhe sab bataa rahi hun. Bas ek sapna hai jo main poora zaroor karungi. Main meri padhai poori kar ek acchi si job karungi, jisse main khud ka kharcha toh nikaal sakun.

Divorce ke baad mujhe yeh ghar chod kar jaana hoga. Yeh shaadi bhale hi ek majboori hai hamare liye, par isse jyada main khud ko majboor nahi kar paaungi, aur nahi tod sakti apna dil. Nanaji thik ho jaayenge toh main bhi nishchint hokar iss ghar se jaa paungi.

Aur Sameer... Unhe bhi koi aisi ladki mil jaayegi jisse wohh pyaar karenge aur uske saath khush rahenge. Jo unke status ki ho, khoobsurat ho, jiske saath unki jodi acchi lage.

Chalo... Ab main so jaati hun. Bohot neend aa rahi hai.

Byee... Waapis jald milenge... Goodnight Diary...

She kept her diary away & cried her heart out, hiding her face in the pillow. Her life was going to change in few days. She had given up on happiness as she was sure that she was not destined to be happy. She didn't know when she drifted to sleep while crying, cursing her destiny all the while.

She didn't know what the future would bring in her life, yet she was ready to embrace it happily.

It was a very emotional update. Sameer will regret his decision of prenuptial agreement and divorce after marriage with Naina. And this will surely hurt nanaji. Hope their future is good. Hope for the best.

FATE TWISTED BY LOVE

CHAPTER 5

Naina got up early the next morning & started helping Ramdhari in the kitchen. Nanu as usual was sitting in the living room reading the newspaper. Sameer too had got up early & left for jogging after a long time. When he was back, he freshened up & joined Nanu for breakfast. Ramdhari served them the meal & went to bring back their tea & coffee.

On not spotting Naina around, Nanu asked, "Ramdhari... Naina kahaan hai? Dikhai nahi de rahi." Before he could reply, he heard her voice, "Nanaji... Main yahaan hun." "Arey beta... Hamare saath naashta karne baith. Kahaan reh gayi thi?" She smiled fondly at him & answered, "Nanaji... Mera aaj upwaas hai. Aap kha lijiye. Main zara mandir hokar aati hun."

Sameer had heard the entire conversation & kept mum but Nanu had some other plans. "Naina... bas dus minute ruk jao, hum bhi saath chalte hai." He peered at Sameer & spoke, "Chalo barkhurdaar. Jaldi se kha lo, fir Naina ke saath mandir jaate hai. Bohot din se gaya nahi hun. Ab bhagwaan ko dhanyawaad toh kehna padega na." Sameer denied without giving it a thought, "Nanu... Mujhe office jaana hai. Bohot important meeting bhi hai. Waise bhi kitne dinon se office nahi gaya hun. Bohot kaam bhi pending hai."

Nanu sighed, "Beta... Hum mandir mein rehne nahi jaa rahe. Dus minute rukna fir chale jaana tum office. Thik hai..." Sameer reluctantly agreed & left to bring his bag. Nanu was waiting for them near the car, when Sameer & Naina approached the car at the same time. Nanu deliberately took the passenger seat leaving the back seat for the couple.

Sameer held the door open for Naina to get seated in the car. She settled in the car next to him without giving him a glance. Nanu kept the conversation going on discussing about work related things with Sameer. They reached the temple in the next five minutes. Once inside, Naina offered a plate of flowers & sweets to the priest. He performed the aarti while this small family stood in front of the deity praying for their happy future.

Once the aarti was done, Nanu asked the priest, "Panditji... mujhe aapse kuch zaruri baat karni hai." He agreed & Nanu continued, "Panditji... Main mere naati Sameer ki shaadi Naina se karaana chahta hun. Koi acche se mahurat bataaiye." Sameer & Naina who stood near them were shocked to hear this.

Sameer stood close to him & murmured, "Nanu... Maine kal raat kahaa toh tha na ki hum court marriage karenge, fir uske liye mahurat ki kya zarurat hai? Dates toh waise bhi court se hi milegi na?" "Beta... Tum apna kaam karo aur mujhe apna karne do. Thik hai." Sameer & Naina stood there like a statue whereas the priest shared some dates with him.

All the three walked out of the temple with different thoughts in their minds, one was very much happy while the other two were shaken with the turn of events. The driver first dropped Sameer to office & then the car was headed towards home. Many things were running in Naina's mind, but she didn't know how to voice it out to Nanu. She kept quiet for the whole drive thinking about how her life would change in the coming few days.

Sameer reached office to find his friends already waiting for him in his cabin. He sat down on his chair with a sigh. His friends knew that something was going on in their best friend's mind & waited patiently for him to speak. He looked at both of them & then told about last night's conversation with Nanu & today's episode in the temple.

They weren't surprised to hear all this as they knew Sameer very well. "Pataa nahi Nanu ke dimaag mein kya chal raha hai? Ek ke baad ek shocks hi diye jaa rahe hai. Ab jab hum unki promise poori kar rahe hai court marriage karke toh fir mandir mein Panditji se mahurat kyun nikaalna hai? Kuch samaj hi nahi aa raha.", Sameer couldn't stop from sharing this with his friends.

His friends on the other side were enjoying their friend's situation. "Sameer... Nanu ke dimaag mein jo bhi chal raha ho, hume toh bohot mazza aa raha hai tujhe aisi haalat mein dekhkar. 'The Sameer Maheshwari' jisne aaj tak kisi ladki ko ghaas nahi daala, aaj wohh ek vaade ki wajah se shaadi karne jaa raha hai. Wohh bhi uss ladki se jisne tujhse shaadi karne se manaa kar diya tha pehle aur tujhe kasskar thappad bhi maara tha.", Pandit finished with a smirk.

Sameer's blood boiled as he remembered her tight slap. No one had ever rejected him but this girl had the audacity to answer him back & even slap him. The girl who seemed innocent & naïve to him on his first meet didn't have the same impression of her now. According to him, she looked like a cunning & smart girl at the moment who was going to use this situation in her favor to the fullest.

He looked at his friends with displeasure & spoke, "Tum dono ko mazaa aa raha hai meri haalat pe. Kaise dost ho tum? Mujhe help karne ke bajaay mujhpar hass rahe ho." His friends just grinned in response. He stood up & faced away from them, & gazed outside the window, "Uss ladki ko toh main shaadi ke baad acche se samjhaunga ki yeh 'Sameer Maheshwari' kaun hai. Usne thappad maara tha na mujhe, uska hisaab toh mein baad mein lunga. Ab bhi uss thappad ki goonj mere dil aur dimaag mein basi hai. Uska hisaab toh usse dena hi padega. Waise bhi uske koi sapne main poore nahi hone dunga. Isliye toh main prenuptial agreement banvaa raha hun, taaki usse ek futi kaudi bhi na mile divorce ke baad. Agar usse yeh lag raha hai ki mujhse shaadi karke usse ek sukoon bhari, aish aur aaraam ki zindagi milegi, toh usse bohot badi galatfehmi ho rahi hai kyunki main uska har ek sapna todne waala hun."

Munna & Pandit heard his each & every word clearly. They knew his friend was very much impulsive in making decisions but they also knew that they won't be able to change his mind & opinion about Naina. He had already set his mind to take revenge on the poor girl & they couldn't do much to change that, but still they tried.

"Sameer... Ek baar thande dimaag se soch. Agar usse tere paison mein interest hota toh shaadi se manaa kyun karti aur fir tujhe thappad kyun maarti? Usne tujhse shaadi ke liye isliye manaa kiya kyunki tune uske character par ungli uthaayi thi aur thappad bhi kyun pada tujhe, yeh toh yaad hoga na tujhe yaa main yaad dilaun? Dekh Sameer, tu jo bhi soche, mujhe toh yahi lagta hai ki Naina ek acchi ladki hai, koi chalkappat nahi hai uske mann mein. Tune sab dekha toh tha na hospital mein, kaise usne Nanaji ka aur khaaskar ke tera khayaal rakha tha.", Munna spoke whatever he felt was right.

Pandit continued, "Haaann... Naine ne hamare liye khaana laaya. Jab tak Nanaji hospital mein the tab tak wohh wahaan rahi hai din-raat. Yaad hai na Sameer kaise usne prayer karte waqt Nanaji ke liye gyarah somvaar ka upwaas rakhne ka vaada kiya tha. Tu yeh sab kaise bhool sakta hai. Tu jaisa soch raha hai waisa kuch nahi, wohh sach mein acchi hai. Tu jab London mein tha tab bhi usne Nanaji ka kitne acche se khayaal rakha, humne dekha hai sab."

Sameer couldn't resist her praises anymore, "Sab naatak hai. Nanu ke saamne acche bane rehne ka naatak kar rahi hai wohh. Tum dono ko nahi dikhai dega, tumhare aankhon pe uske acchai ki patti jo lagi hai. Tum dono ko nahi samaj aayega. Par main uski koi bhi saazish poori nahi hone dunga. Usse kya lagaa ki mujhse shaadi karke usse sab mil jaayega, main aisa kabhi nahi hone dunga. She doesn't know who I am. But don't worry, shaadi ke baad usse sab samaj aa jaayega."

His friends kept watching him & then Munna challenged, "Sameer... Ek din aisa aayega jab tu iss decision ko regret karega. Par tab tak bohot late ho gaya hoga. Dekh lena Sameer... Mark these words, 'You will regret this badly.' Aur tab hum bhi tumhari koi help nahi kar paayenge. Tere best friends hain hum isliye tere saath zaroor honge par humse koi madad ki ummeed mat karna tum.", saying this, Munna left his cabin followed by an unhappy Pandit.

"Pataa nahi kya jaadu chalaaya hai iss Naina ne, pehle Nanu aur ab mere friends bhi uski hi side par hai. Par main uske behkaave mein nahi aaunga, uski masoom shakal par nahi jaaunga. Wohh kuch bhi karle, main uska har plan nakaam kar dunga. I promise you Naina that you will regret marrying me for the money & I will make sure you don't get even a penny from me or Nanu. I promise that..."

At the other side, when Naina reached home with Nanu, she was anxious about the whole marriage thing. She knew that even if the marriage was real, their relationship would be a fake one. The moment Sameer had accused her of being a gold digger & characterless, she knew that he would never understand & treat her properly. She cursed herself for agreeing to the marriage as she knew this would ruin her life ahead. But what can be done now? She can't change it.

The year after marriage was going to be hell for her, she knew beforehand. The promise between the grandfathers was the only reason she had agreed & accepted the unwanted marriage. She strengthened her resolve to stay calm & strong & maintain her self-respect & dignity till the end which she had already put on stake.

The court marriage & the prenuptial agreement clearly meant that he wasn't trusting her. He had informed Nanu about the court marriage but he didn't mention a word about the agreement which clearly showed that this was going to be between them only. No one was supposed to know this. She had no one to share this with anyone anyway but she was sure that his best friends would be knowing the whole equation between them.

She was in her room trying to concentrate on her studies, when she heard a knock. Nanu stood before her, "Arey Nanaji... Aapko kuch kaam tha toh mujhe bulaa lete, main aa jaati neeche." He stepped in her room & sat down comfortably on the couch. He gestured her to sit & she settled down beside him.

"Naina... Main toh bas yunhi aaya tha tumse milne. Neeche akele baithkar bore ho raha tha, toh socha chalo dekhte hai ki meri bacchi kya kar rahi hai." He looked around & saw the books that were spread across the study table. He blessed her wholeheartedly, "Naina... Apni padhai poori karne ke baad aage kya socha hai?" She looked a little confused with his question, "Nanaji... Mujhe kuch samaj nahi aaya."

He asked her straightforward, "Naina... Tumhara course do saal ka hai. Uske khatam hone ke baad kya karogi, kuch socha toh hoga na tumne? Jaise koi job ya khud ka business?" Now she understood & debated just for a minute before answering, "Nanaji... Aap agar bura na maane toh kya aap mujhe permission de sakte hai?" He raised his eyebrows at her in question, "Kaisi permission?"

She took few deep breaths before asking, "Kya main part-time job kar sakti hun Nanaji?" Now it was Nanu's turn to be confused, "Part-time job, kis liye? Course khatam hone ke baad full time job kar sakti ho tum, fir part-time kyun karna hai?" She started again, "Mujhe part-time job abhi karni hai Nanaji, mere studies ke saath saath."

Nanu didn't know what to say to that & she continued, "Dekhiye Nanaji... Main jaanti hun ki aapko mera yun baahar kaam karna pasand nahi aayega. Bhala kaun apni honewali bahu ko aise kaam karne ki permission dega. Par Nanaji, please mujhe iss job ke liye manaa mat kijiyega. Maine aapka aur Nanaji ke vaade ka maan rakha aur ab aap please mujhse iss part-time job ki permission de dijiye."

Nanu sat there in stunned silence, not knowing how to respond to that. He knew that his heart attack & his illness had played a major role in making these kids agree for the marriage. They were doing this only for him. And now he somewhere understood that she wasn't ready yet to accept his grandson as her life partner. He remembered that she had refused to marry Sameer & after his hospitalization, they had agreed albeit reluctantly. He knew he can't push her more towards his grandson & the unwanted marriage, so he half-heartedly gave in.

"Thik hai Naina. Jaisa tum chaaho. Aur ek baad yaad rakhna, tum iss ghar ki bahu nahi, beti ho. Samjhi? Aage se kabhi khudko akela mat samajhna, hum sab hai tumhare saath. Agar tum chaaho toh ek baar Sameer se bhi baat kar lena, shaayad hamari office mein tumhe koi job mil jaaye." She denied immediately, "Nahi Nanaji... Main aapki company mein kaam nahi karungi. Main kahin aur kaam karna chaahti hun. Aur... aur... main yeh baat abhi unse nahi kahungi. Pehle mujhe koi job mil jaaye fir main unse baat kar lungi."

Nanu knew that whatever happened before his heart attack had made her sour or else, she wouldn't have asked to look out for a part-time job. Making up his mind, he spoke a bit hesitantly, "Naina... Tumhe pataa hai na ki tum mujhse kuch bhi baat kar sakti ho, kuch bhi share kar sakti ho. Tumne mujhe apna Nanaji maana hai, toh tum apni har khushi aur har gham mujhse share kar sakti ho. Main shanti se tumhari baat sununga bhi aur hum milkar uska solution bhi nikalenge."

Naina understood that he wanted to talk about Sameer but she didn't dare to open her mouth. She knew once she started, she wouldn't stop & would blurt out everything to Nanaji. She could never lie to him so she just nodded in reply. Nanu got up with a sigh promising himself to give her all the happiness she deserved. He had to now make sure of keeping his eyes & ears open, especially around his grandson. He had no doubt in mind that Sameer had hurt this soul very badly.

Sameer returned home a little late that night due to some last-minute conference call. He freshened up & called out loudly, "Ramdhari... Khaana lagaa de, bohot zor ki bhook lagi hai." He came out & started bringing all the casseroles & dishes. Sameer looked at him, "Mere akele ke liye yeh sab baahar kyun laa raha hai? Ek hi plate lagaa de."

He smiled at him, "Bhaiya... Kisine khaana nahi khaaya hai. Nanu bhi abhi hi laute hai, baahar gaye the shaam ko aur Naina didi ne bhi kuch nahi khaaya hai subah se, unka upwaas jo tha." Sameer asked him to call them for dinner. He went to call them while Sameer sat there on the dining table alone lost in his thoughts. Did that girl really didn't eat anything since morning? Wasn't she acting to gain Nanu's sympathy? His friends' words kept ringing in his mind.

"Arey barkhurdaar... Chalo khaana kha lete hai. Ramdhari jaldi se khaana paros de. Aur Naina kahaan hai? Hamari wajah se usne bhi kuch khaaya nahi hoga ab tak." Naina joined them in the next few minutes & settled down beside Nanu. She served a little food from her plate in a small bowl & kept it in front of the Ganpati idol in the temple & prayed for a while. Sameer was gazing at her sharply while Nanu & Ramdhari looked warmly at her. Once she was back at the dining table, everyone started their meal.

"Nanu... Ramdhari bataa raha tha ki aap shaam ko baahar gaye the. Aapko pataa hai na doctor ne kahin baahar akele jaane se manaa kiya hai, fir aap akele kyun gaye? Naina ko saath le jaate, waise bhi poora din ghar mein hi toh rehti hai." Though his casual remark sounded like concern towards his Nanu, but it stabbed someone's heart deeper than expected.

"Sameer... Mujhe thoda important kaam tha isliye main baahar gaya tha. Aur tum chinta mat karo, main driver ko saath le gaya tha." He looked at Naina & continued, "Waise bhi Naina ka upwaas tha, toh main kahaan usse baahar le jaakar aur thakaata." Sameer & Naina remined quiet while Nanu continued, "Main apne lawyer, Mr Purohit se milne gaya tha. Tum toh mujhe kaam ka hawala dekar nikal gaye subah toh ab mujhe hi aage ka sab dekhna padega na."

Sameer shifted uncomfortably on his chair & asked, "Aap lawyer se kyun milne gaye the?" Nanu replied with a smile, "Ab tum toh court marriage ke liye dates laane se rahe toh maine socha main hi kar leta hun. Kal Purohitji court mein tum dono ki register marriage ke liye application lekar aayenge. Toh tum ghar par he rehna. Maine Rahu-Ketu se baat kar li hai, kal subah office ka kaam wohh dono dekh lenge."

None of them uttered a word after that & finished the dinner quietly. Once back in their rooms, Sameer & Naina tossed & turned throughout the night, but sleep was far away from them. He didn't realize that Nanu would start the legal process so soon. He wanted to drag some time but now he couldn't do anything when Nanu himself was managing all. He still hadn't prepared the prenuptial agreement. He needed to do that fast before the date of wedding was confirmed.

Naina kept thinking about how she should start forward. She needed to start hunting for a job soon. She couldn't sit here & do nothing. She had a long way to go, starting from a job, then her studies & then this fake marriage life. The main concern was her accommodation. Where would she go after the divorce materialized? She had no relatives or no one whom she knew for that matter. After a year, she had to leave this house & find a hostel room for herself. She cried herself to sleep that night yet again.

The next morning didn't go as expected for Sameer. The lawyer came a little late after collecting the application form from the court. He filled the form after asking the required details from the couple. He asked for their two photographs each & all the documents required. After collecting everything, he left bidding them goodbye & told them that he would inform the date later that day.

What the couple didn't know was that Mr Purohit was a lawyer cum friend to Nanu. So, he had come prepared. Even the date was already decided. They just needed the confirmation from the court that the date was available for them. Nanu had managed the same date that the priest had suggested while their visit to the temple. He very well knew that Sameer wouldn't go forward as committed by him for the court marriage, so he had taken the lead himself.

Sameer & Naina didn't understand why everything was happening so fast? They hadn't thought that Nanu would escalate the marriage process so soon. Sameer still had to make a prenuptial agreement whereas Naina wanted to hunt for a part-time job for herself.

Once the lawyer left, Sameer too left for office. He couldn't sit at home & see all the preparations that Nanu was planning for the marriage. He just hoped that Nanu wouldn't ask him to prepare for a reception party which he didn't want at all. He wasn't ready for that. When he entered his cabin, he called his friends to join him. As soon as they arrived, his phone rang. He picked up the call & put it on speaker.

"Sameer... Abhi Mr Purohit ka call aaya tha. Date confirm ho gayi hai. Ek hafte baad tumhari aur Naina ki shaadi hogi. Main aaj bohot khush hun beta, bohot bohot khush. Mera sapna poora hone jaa raha hai. Sameer ghar jaldi aa jaana. Bohot taiyaari bhi karni hai." The call went off & the three friends kept staring at each other. Munna & Pandit didn't know what to say while Sameer was totally in shock. He wasn't prepared for this at all. He was going to get married to her in a week. He didn't know how to react to this. Mundit silently exited his cabin leaving him alone with his thoughts.

On the other side, Naina had gone numb with the news. She was going to get married to him in the next week. She sat in front of the mirror & looked at herself closely. She touched her neck slightly & closed her eyes, a picture of her appeared before her eyes where she was wearing a saree & the mangulsutra tied in her neck & her hairline was smeared with vermillion. Her eyes opened with a jerk & her eyes watered immediately.

She took the photograph of her Nanaji & caressed his face. "Nanaji... Meri shaadi ho rahi hai. Main aapka aur Nanaji ka kiya hua vaada poora karne jaa rahi hun. Bas aapka aashirwaad mujhpar humesha rakhna, mujhe uski bohot zarurat hai. Aapko sab pataa toh hoga hi, dekh rahe hai na aap sab? Bas mujhe thodi himmat dijiyega taaki main yeh ek saal yahaan khushi khushi kaat sakun." She closed her eyes & let her tears flow silently.

When Sameer reached home that evening, he saw Nanu sitting with some people whom he couldn't recognize. He greeted everyone & went to freshen up. Once back in the living room, he saw Naina too had joined them. He sat beside Nanu, "Nanu... Yeh sab log kaun hai?"

Nanu introduced them, "Yeh hai Mohanbhai Sanghvi, hamare jewelers rahe hai bohot saalon se. Inhe maine bulaaye hai, kyunki shaadi ke liye hume Naina ke liye mangalsutra aur kuch jewelry leni hogi na? Aur yeh hai Kamleshbhai Shah, yeh tum dono ka naap lene aaye hai. Maine tumhare liye already sherwani order kar di hai aur Naina ke liye bhi saree chun li hai."

Nanu turned to the others, "Yeh hai mera naati Sameer, jiski shaadi hone jaa rahi hai." He turned to Naina, "Chalo ab jaldi se jewelry aur mangalsutra ke designs mein se jo pasand aaye wohh chose kar lo." He turned to the tailor, "Aur aap tab tak Sameer ka naap le lijiye." The couple hesitantly agreed to everything that Nanu made them do.

Once the people left, Sameer asked, "Nanu... Hum court mein shaadi karne jaa rahe hai, isme yeh sab ki kya zarurat hai?" "Sameer... Sirf tumhari shart ki wajah se yeh shaadi court mein ho rahi hai. Par ek baat meri bhi maanni hogi tum dono ko." This time Naina asked, "Kaunsi baat Nanaji?"

He caressed her head lovingly, "Court mein shaadi hone ke baad mein chahta hun ki tum dono ki shaadi mandir mein bhi ho. Bhagwaan ke saamne poore riti-riwaaz ke saath ho. Dekho bacchon, main thode puraane khayaalaat ka hun, toh main yeh maanta hun ki yeh shaadi tabhi safal hogi jab tum dono pavitra agni ke saamne saat phere lo, jab Sameer tumhare gale mein mangalsutra pehnaaye aur tumhari maang sindoor se bhar de. Yahi meri nazar mein shaadi hai. Court marriage mein kya sirf sign karoge, witness aur sub registrar ke saamne. Yeh legal wedding hui par mere dil ko tabhi tasalli milegi jab yeh shaadi mandir mein hogi. Ab hamara vaada poora hi karna hai toh jaisa main chahta hun waise shaadi karo. Maine Sameer ki shart maani ab tum dono meri bhi yeh baat maano."

Sameer & Naina glanced at each other & agreed to Nanu as right now they couldn't refuse anything that came from him. They had their dinner quietly whereas Nanu kept talking about the marriage. Ramdhari served them malai rabdi which was brought to celebrate the news of their marriage. "Arey Naina didi, aur lijiye na. Aapne kuch thik se khaaya hi nahi."

Nanu smacked him on his head, "Naina didi nahi... Ab Bhabhi bolne ki aadat daal le. Ek hafte baad yeh Sameer ki biwi hogi." Ramdhari rubbed his head for a while & then grinned happily, "Naina Bhabhi... Ab thik hai Nanaji???" Nanu & Ramdhari were happy that she would now stay with them forever.

"Accha Sameer. Tum shaadi waale din office mat jaana aur Rahu-Ketu ko bhi invitation de dena. Thik hai. Baaki sab main sambhaal lunga." Sameer instantly refused, "Nanu... Jo bhi taiyaari karni hai wohh mujhe bataa dijiye, main kar kunga. Aap abhi poori tarah se thik nahi hue hai, jo itna kaam aur stress le rahe hai."

"Arey... Teri shaadi ka sapna toh main kabse dekh raha tha. Aur ab jab ho rahi hai, toh main chain se kaise baith sakta hun. Tum fikar mat karo, main aur Naina sab sambhaal lenge. Tum bas shaadiwaale din khudko free rakhna." Sameer nodded in acceptance feeling helpless at the sudden turn of events. He never thought that Nanu would manipulate him this easily.

Once everyone retired to their rooms, Sameer made a call to his lawyer friend & asked him to meet at his office the next day. He couldn't risk to make the prenuptial agreement by their family lawyer. He needed someone who would be trustworthy & would keep this away from his Nanu. Who could be better than his own friend, Neel Oberoi? He just needed to think about the clauses that he would add furthermore in the agreement.

Naina was standing near the window & was gazing at the moon. Her life was slipping from her own hands & now she didn't know what to do, from where to start. She just knew that her life was going to change drastically once she was married to Mr Sameer Maheshwari. The handsome face she had fallen for would be the reason for her nightmares.

She took a deep breath, "Chaahe jo bhi ho jaaye, shaadi ke baad main uss pavitra rishtey ka apmaan nahi karungi. Bhale hi aap mujhse kitni bhi nafrat karo Sameer, par main ek patni hone ka poora farz nibhaungi. Hamare Nanaji ke promise ka maan rakhungi, fir bhale hi wohh ek saal ke liye hi kyun na ho. I will accept you as my husband wholeheartedly even after knowing that you won't be ever mine."

How was the update?

Any ideas about Sameer's additional clauses for the prenuptial agreement?

I agree with munna Pandit that he will regret later when nothing will be in his hands. I hope sameer won't be to much harsh towards naina. Eager to know what sameer has decided to add in the prenuptial agreement. Will be eagerly waiting for next update dear. I really feel bad for naina. Without any reasons she is suffering and will suffer in future also.
