Episode 16.05.19......Naina’s honey and the honeybees!

Samaina arriving at Sea queen society and topper Naina remembers her research and instructs our lover boy to sit in the front seat. Naina, ise kehte hain kulhadi pe khud pair marna.

Samaina arrive at the society aur guard ne Samaina ko inki gareebi ka Ehsaas dila diya. It’s ok Samaina, many Indians live in rented accommodation all their lives.

Sam ko society mein sannata lag raha hai, then he realises that’s coz his Priya Sasur ji hasn’t reached. Shaitan ka naam lo aur shaitan haazir SS arrives with the truck. Aur phir Chabi ke peeche, Sam aur SS ka “Sasur bhi kabhi damaad tha” shuru. Love RD and Chandreshjis comic timing. They are hilarious together.👏

Aur phir Ahmedabad ka Tom cruise Mumbai aaye aur koi Madhumakki notice na kare, aisa to kabhi nahi ho sakta, yeh Fevicol ka jodh hai tootega nahi 😆Someone in the creative team has a major crush on RD, to koi mauka nahi chodte apne dil ka haal bayaan karne ka 😆So Moti ladki baar baar shuttle phenkti hai Sam pe. Samaina ki patience mannni padegi (Well we do have proof with the delayed SR) , mein hoti to, would have shoved the shuttle down that girls throat. She was so irritating. But glad Naina wasn’t irritated and actually could find humour. Her dialogue, “ Kaise Bachaun apne Kohinoor ko” was 🤣. Waise Sam won’t be able to preserve their secret for long. His hands don’t really listen to his brain, they are connected to his heart and he can’t keep it to himself when Naina is in close proximity😉. Btw dopahar se Shaam ho gayi and Moti ladki still playing badminton lekin phir bhi Patli nahi ho rahi.

Meanwhile curious neighbourhood ladies curious about the trio, thinking shayad bhai behen ho, then deny saying Tom Cruise aur Seema Biswas bhai behen kaise ho Sakte hain ( Sorry no offence to anyone, Ashi is one of the prettiest girls I have seen, don’t get CVs obsession but I guess that’s how her character is drawn). Don’t worry neighbors, aage chalke Samaina apna khud ka gene pool create kar Lenge, tumhe godh bharai mein bulayenge na.

Finally Preeti arrives from school fancy dress competition, pretending to be mom. Hamari preeti Kahan gayi 😭😆Apt use of the song here and the line “ Teri bahon mein mar Jayne hum” it was for Preena and Ashi and Ayesha both. They must be so happy to shoot together again. Bechara RD must be missing his boy gang.

Kanjoos Saas ne bina man ke bula liya. Ghar ke andar ek aur Ghanti saas bhi maujood hai.haye Preeti, yeh kya kar liya, Kahan hum tumhe modern Vishakha aur usse bhi zyada modern takli dadi de rahe the SS and Sam phir shuru. Poor Naina trapped between the two men in her life. Sahi takkar diya hai humare show ne EK ke saari saas bahu ko.🤪

Kanjoos saas doesn’t want them to drink Keesar milk and I think neither does the ghanti saas.

Coming to episode...it was like fresh season of YuD...agree RD and chandresh just are crackling..and in fact this aspect of their relation was not explored so far...in school it was always Ss shouting on sameer...kind of one way...but now they are sasur damad so equation has changed...and we are getting 2 way fireworks😆

samaina have no idea what they have got themselves in for with this hiding marriage ...its gonna be real tough on them...btw i was wondering does preetis saas know about their marriage...?? She shud na coz ideally they would have attended preetis wedding together i suppose😊

Loved preena union🤗i also liked how preeti inspite of her saas reluctance invited them to her house and offered them badaam milk..which shows her strong character...she may not openly oppose her saas but she will have her own way when its right...way to go gal👍🏼.

Looking forward to how samaina manage to romance with so many obstacles in their way..its kinda fun...like pre wedding situation again after marriage...so double frustration😆

She knows. Rakesh referred to Sameer as damaad in front of her as well. Plus Anand had asked to look for a house for them in the same society. I am glad in a way, kisi ko to pata hai. Somehow, someone has to spill the beans.

Episode was good in a way introducing new characters specially Preeti’s Family and neighbours now waiting for her husband entry.

Preeti’s MIL is very interesting character she can really shut Rakesh. Sameer’s expressions were worth watching when she was talking to Rakesh and he was all tongue tied.

Liked Preena scene. Just like Naina I was also shocked to see Preeti like this but really looking forward to her story also towards becoming famous hair stylist.

IDK about others but I liked those 3 ladies trying to find out about Rakesh and Samaina.

Looking at them I feel they will be really helpful in future once they will know these kids.

No comment about that badminton playing girl now will comment later in coming episodes.

Loved Naina for teasing Sameer it was cute. About those ladies commenting on Naina’s look IDK what’s the problem?

If you see from story POV Naina is indeed plain simple looking girl compared to Sameer but for him she is the most beautiful girl on this planet inside out. TBH I really admire CVs for keeping that in mind and how people judge person just by looking at them but not really knowing them and those ladies also did the same thing to gauge their relationship just by look.

Loved Sameer and Rakesh scene also. Have to say Chandresh ji and Randeep also have an awesome chemistry. I am in fact glad that Sameer is not keeping quiet and giving back but respectfully. Just hope Rakesh doesn’t trouble our Kiddo too much and that’s the reason I didn’t want him to come to Mumbai but carry this facade of being single they do need Rakesh.

Precap is hilarious one more character came have to say he is also a very good Marathi actor have seen his work before.

For me this episode belonged to Randeep and Chandresh ji.

P.S. Uma lovely and apt title. Really looking forward to it. Naina trying to save her Kohinoor really loved this new name of Sameer. TBH I don’t like jealousy in any relationship that means you don’t trust your partner and I am hoping that CVs will not take this route for any of them not Naina or Sameer.

Yes, that’s the beauty of the story and Naina is also confident of her looks, she doesn’t feel inferior in any which way which I like and for Sameer she is the most beautiful anyway. Yes those ladies gave typical reaction of judging without knowing.

They are fab together. Love their chemistry and like Mrugali mentioned, unlike earlier times, their relation and equation has changed and Sameer can give it back politely.

I love SS and Sameer jodi yaar👍🏼. More than Samaina these two and their bonding will be the highlight of Mumbai track. At the end of all this nokjhok, and unable to adjust to Mumbai SS will finally decide to leave out of frustration and then we will see Sameer’s good side towards SS and he might actually go back having gained a son😊

Preethi’s new role and her family is quite interesting. Both Saas and Daadi Saas seem kanjoos but do give respect to Preethi. Looking forward to see what is in store with this family.

Typical colony scene, curious Neighbours trying to guess the inside story of the new residents, all waiting for the other to ask for help. Shuttle girl and that scene was irritating, and who would keep returning the shuttle so many times without saying anything. Khair kuch bhi.. I guess we might see that girl actually fully falling for Sameer and something to do with her being fat etc..

I feel there will not be any jealousy type thing but would want some neighbor to bring a proposal for Naina. Then it would really fun to see both Sasur and damaad trying to ward off prospective grooms for Naina.

and here I think the scene of the 3 girls calling Sameer handsome and Naina not was unnecessary. Agreed she is supposed to be plain Jane and he is super handsome. But why the comparison and the comments? They could have avoided that.

Me too loving this sasur damaad equation. RD and chandreshji are both fab. Ahmedabad track was all about samaina and their bond but i guess this track will be about their careers and also them getting a family in SS. His relation with naina was also strained from the begining. But now i think as they all are living under one roof they will discover each other and by the end of this track sameer and rakesh will have a strong bond where rakesh would get a son in sameer and sameer a dad in rakesh. would love to see how this unfolds.

Loved preena's reunion. Preethi's saas looks like a nice person, just kanjoos. Now to waiting to see her husband. Hope they will be strong support to samaina. Thank God atleast they know that samaina are married. As you say Uma somebody has to spill the beans. And i think it will be sameer himself for he cannot keep this secret for long. Hope it is out soon. I personally dont like this angle. Lets see what cvs have in store.

The ladies curiosity was typical, it generally happens that way. The fat girl scene was ott and unwanted according to me. We all by now know sam is handsome and all the girls are lattu over him. No need to nail it down our heads anymore.

Your synopsis is so funny – love your writing style.

Looks is very important for initial attraction. I know that the CVs have overdone it by portraying very girl in the block virtually hitting on Sameer from all sides,that too in the most obvious way is getting repetitive and thus boring. But I think Sameer as a character was established as a good looking dude with everybody initially smitten by his outer appearance. Ask Naina – she used to be one of the original groupies who was mesmerized by his” laherate baal”. It is different that Naina &Sameer got to know each other and her one sided attraction turned into something more meaningful along the way. About that moti ladki playing badminton, tell me honestly, if that girl looked like Sonali Bendre or Madhuri Dixit, would Naina still take it as a laughing matter? Here not getting jealous is directly proportional to the outer appearance of the female hitting on Sameer.

Naina VO highlighting saying-“Sisters before misters” made me very nostalgic. I don’t have sisters myself but my cousins are like siblings and some of my friends are like my sisters. We used to live by “men come and go but girlfriends are forever” motto. How true is it that one falls in love, marries, moves away but when you meet each other after years it still feels that things are just the same. The siblings and friends have their own special place in life.

Preeti reminded me so much of some of my friends who married young. With their sudden change in appearance and demeanor overnight, we were left to contemplate what happened. Preeti is actually a true portrayal of many married girls – I have seen it happen multiple times in real life as cheery girls were reduced to pallu-bearing housewives with primary roles of breeding and care-giving. I am now curious to see how Preeti’s husband is. If you marry and adjust yourself this way, there must be a reason good enough in a husband to do so. I am also curious to see how this unambitious lazy pallu-bearing housewife mutates into famous hairdresser.

With fair amount of my cribbing I have watched every episode of YUDKBH up to now - curious to see what happens next.
