There was always emotional depth in whichever scenes that he directed - maybe because of the writing/CV team too..
Hope we get all those elements back in the showedit - but what is sad is that the same director was literally hounded for the Delhi track - even though the Sam's journey during that phase was important..I am guessing makers bring in the directors whose sensitivities match with the emotional phase of the tracks.. LIght hearted college track, Shaadi handled by a diff. director, school phase by a diff. one and then the bet, separation, redemption phase of Sameer..etc..
Yes xactly...its funny how tis director was bashed mercilessly due to Delhi track on the SM but i had njoyed his direction immensely cos they was always tis intensity in the acting...emotions were so heartfelt tat i did end up crying several times...I dunno y mny founded fault in Delhi execution then when it was important to know how the lovers were steuggling enough to make it to each other...Even the hit n miss on the busroad trip to Dwarka jus gve me goosebumps though i was irritated for Samaina standing right thre but not meeting..😆.but then the director knew how to make us Feel those emotions in love!!
The imaginary bike ride was also one beauty with so much Ehsaas n innocence to it
