Did she not offer tray to him first and he picked that glass? Then why the fuss ! Seriously they showed her like a smart intelligent girl and now she is just in LA la land, or maybe culture shock! They have servants as backup...? Instead of piling dishes

You take four glasses from one set and four glasses from another set and create a new 8 piece mixed and matched set. Giving five people one kind of glass and one person a different glass creates the impression of creating a divide or discriminating against the one person.
