They will face a financial crisis and then when they earn the money and buy a small house then they feel that attachment towards their house.

Deepa, I myself have thought about that part too. Maybe they don't care because the house is not bought with their sweat & toil. However, it is still early days of marriage and I expected to see enthusiasm in the upkeep of their little world for at least few months. If they had fallout after couple of months, then I would have understood because they are still young and laziness and disinterest sets in. However, everything should have been new and exciting right now.

Agreed.

I was thinking about my student life in the US. I had several different roommates who were of different disposition. Some left dishes in the sink whereas some were neat freaks. The slobs were always getting into the nerves of the neat freaks and there were tension in the apartment for everyone. However, Naina and Sameer are not roommates - they are husband and wife. They are not living in the rented apartment like us but are living in this posh house that Sameer bought for two of them.
Remember how mesmerised Naina was with the house during her ghar pravesh? Someone who was so taken in with her new house surely should be more caring of it, particularly since she did not come from such a grand house. She appears to be so careless and takes it for granted as though such riches are her right and she has no responsibility towards it. Sameer at least appears to want it to be kept clean as his clean freak avatar had shown. But he does very little to keep it clean himself and to get Naina to be part of keeping it clean. He claimed that this house was no less than a five star hotel and therefore Naina should keep it such. But as in five star hotels the workers are invisible, maybe these two believe that the invisible workers will keep it clean.😉😉

What has been appalling for me in this track is both Sameer & Naina do not seem to have feeling of ownership or attachment to the house. One of the biggest milestones in couples life is buying their dream house. The women especially gets great happiness in having a home she can call her own, that she can design, decorate and put the marking as theirs, hang up pictures of marriage/honeymoon etc. at least during the early days of marriage or during new ownership of the house. As a female who has known the joys of buying your own house with my spouse, I have found the way CVs have chosen to show Naina as a slob highly unrealistic.
Buying your own home as a married person or as a single person is one of the most precious moments in one's life. Whether you buy it with your own money or it is bought with your parents' money or an inheritance, as in Sameer's case, it should still be a prized possession carefully taken care of at least in the initial stages. The careless way in which Sameer treats his house shows how much he takes his wealth for granted and arrogantly believes that it is endless. Naina's lack of appreciation for having received such a house without having done anything save to fall in love with the ameerzaada is unrealistic. Since she comes from a middle class background where they pinched pennies, she would have been much more enamoured with the house and been extremely possessive of it. But as Sameer said to her, this is no less than a five star hotel. Remember, noone makes a home in a five star hotel; everyone goes to a five star hotel for a few days and then returns to their mundane life.

Instead if she was chosen to have procrastinated in keeping house neat and tidy due to the hovering exams would have been relatable. I would have loved to see them learning to live in the same space, learning that the other one has lots of traits that irks you like leaving the toilet seat up, not cleaning up after himself or herself after using the bath tub or leaving shoes in the middle of the hallway would have been more relatable than leaving piles and piles of unwashed dishes and covering them up with a blanket. That is purely disgusting.

They have got too much of freedom I feel. At agrawal house Chachiji and taiji were always telling her if she was doing a mistake and sameer has always been his own master after he came back from Delhi. Rokne wala tokne wala koi Nahin in their own house so they have become irresponsible
