Hi Sur Di,
First of all, a big thank you for updating despite the difficulties the new layout is giving for the writers here in terms of space issues, title changes, multiple PMs etc. Hopefully, it is all fixed soon.
Hi dear...hehe as it is I keep testing the patience of my loyal readers! Didn't want to disappoint them again!
Coming to the chapter,
So, it's PKU. Heard it for the first time. By reading this story, I am gaining some medical knowledge. Also, really appreciate that you explained the illness a way a normal person would without so much medical gibberish. 😆
Am glad I could make it easy to understand dear! :) Exam me aaye aage kisi class mein to you know about it already! ;)
I liked how Sameer is looking into the fact that why Diya's condition is affecting him so much, it's just not because he loves Naina and cares about her loved ones, there's something more.
Definitely! :) There's something deeper than what's visible!
A genetic disease and Sameer's Nani had it. There were many times he wondered if Diya could be his daughter so why didn't he now? Maybe, he was preoccupied to get the Diya the best treatment, I feel.
Yes- right now his mind is more on Diya's well being. But it won't be long before he starts putting the pieces together.
I feel so sad yet very proud of Naina. She is indeed a strong woman. Losing all old relations and Sameer, marrying someone and having a lovechild; the difficulties that comes along with it. And, then finding out your daughter is affected with an illness that deprives her of all the pleasure of having a ice cream or a piece of chocolate and also, you might have aggravated the illness. She has gone through so much mentally, a survivor she is.
That is so true dear...uptil now, we knew of Sameer's trauma...but Naina faced far more than he did perhaps! Being an unwed mother in an Indian society, that too without any means of subsistence...no family support...no friend to lean on...life was mean to her...and to top it all, when she gives birth to her daughter...she discovers that the pain hasn't yet ended..:(
Tell me, Sur Di, does Arvind know that Diya is not his biological daughter? I feel, Naina might have told him. But, whatever it is, Arvind is a blessing for Naina when she was deserted by everyone, all alone, left to deal with her misery.
Arvind seems to be a blessing indeed right now! :) And well...I'll answer your question :P Maybe in a separate message.
Naina knows Diya's father is Sameer. She shouldn't deny the right of the child of getting the best of medical treatments for her illness by her father. Naina comes nowhere into this picture, it's what a father is doing for his child. Hopefully, she accepts Sameer's help because at the end, Diya getting fine is the priority.
See that's what I mean when I say I'm always pleasantly surprised by your maturity and clarity of thoughts! <3 She has already started accepting his help- for Diya and perhaps, her heart is overruling her mind!
Eager to find more about Naina's past and also, can't wait to know what happens next! Update soon, Sur Di! 🤗
Will reveal all in due time dear! I'm so excited to see you still love the story the same way! :)
