Since Naina's birth Taiji had predicted that she will have no happiness in her life. She will have no sanskar , no intelligence, no talent.
The venom is also because Bela has raised her into such a nice girl. She does not like Bela and she can't digest people praising Bela for her upbringing of Naina.
Her mentality has been defeated. Her predictions have been proved wrong. Hence her ego is hurt which making her stoop lower.
Same applies for Tauji. He has not openly expressed his thoughts for Naina but I am sure he shares Taiji's thought.
He wants the appreciation Anand is getting for upbringing Naina. TTs failure has accumulated curse for Naina.
More than the intercaste marriage they are angry about the fact that Anand has earned much more respect than them inspite of being the guardians of the family.
They were talking about their honour in the society but now all their relatives and society have accepted Samaina wedding and want to be part of it but TT are not ready to shed their ego as Rakesh did. They cannot see Anand get all the respect and they be present in the wedding just as another relative.
