Then & Now

Just look at the differences in reactions to almost the same situation a year ago according to storyline..

Last summer vacations..a storm hit samainas life..
Nainas alliance was fixed and agter an almost yes she gets to know this..in short telling was just for a fotmality...
Back then also this cunning plan was executed by the wenomeous tayiji because she got to know that some guy in college is interested in her and she feared that naina will fall in love with that guy.

Back then naina succomed to the family pressure and her inner fear didn't let her speak up..

Bela chachi back then was as good as non existent as she and was taken forgranted aise jaise dood mese makkhi ko nikalte hain..

Sameer misunderstood that naina hapoily agreed to this alliance and didn't clear this with her, rather he rook a further moore drastic step by proposing to sunaina.

Mundit also felt betrayed towards their brother and was upset with their bhabhi...

Today again..the evil trio was having an upper hand..and reason again being naina falling in love...but today the reactions are different..

Naina today fearlessly accepted that she is in love with sameer..she doesn't see that they are wrong..
How she stood firm on her place..bot mooving when tayji tried to drag her..how she clearly decleared that she would rather die but not marry sharad..
The best was how she openly asked the gang to help her out..and finally she choose to go with sameer rather than succombing to her families demands...

This time sameer knew that naina needs him and no ways he willl leave his girl alone like this...
The way he said ke agar yeh shaadi na ruki to mein nahi janta mein kiya kar jaunga..and how he decleared that he didn't hold her hand to leave her to fight the battle alone...

Mundit..they where concerned..and shocked to see the cruelty towards their bhabhi...they joined their hands and pleeded for her mercy..

And the best being bela..from not being able to even open her mouth last time and making naina undertanf that she should everything upto faith..today she knows what faith wants but these jaladhs of her house are coming in their way..
Today she herself is sending her away knowing that this is the right and only to do..just taking a promise from her that she will not do anything wrong...

Its amazing how these characters has grown as individuals and how their relatioms has come such a long way...❤️

Great post abida. Yes they have grown in every aspect now. Bela Chachi was love yesterday. Madhushree just nailed it, her expressions as a helpless mother while naina and Preethi were pleading her were worth appreciation .
And the person behind all of these changes in one and only ANAND ...
He brings the courage in all of them, last time while he stood helpless no one did anything, then when he decided to speak up and stand for his little princess everyone had to listen to him.
Bela let naina go only because she knew that her husband would never approve of what was happening to her right now.
Sameer and naina tried to escape the situation because they knew Anand was with them.
And the best part of the episode was when naina fled away looking eye to eye at Rakesh.
Baap ki nazar se nazar milake ke Bhagi wo, kyuki use pata tha, for now she was just saving herself from a destruction. And it's anand who brought that courage in herself.

That's true! Anand making her slap sharad taught her to take a stand for herself when she is wronged! Even with Sameer but especially her family! That eye to eye contact was fearless co she knew they as a couple were right!

Yes..that gaze was something else man...ashi was brilliant in it.
It was no regret..nothing..just the confidence of being on the right...and mayebe rwalisation og what her real worth is in these evils eyes...

Great post .can't write much as I am super busy but very happy to see the growth. That breakup may have made theme realise there depth of love and actually they can't separate now.Always wanted to see naina taking a stand and supporting sameer .

What a lovely post... You have covered growth of each character so well.. This weeks episodes are so edgy, gripping and fast paced that every second and dialogues get etched in your memory..

A marriageis for lifetime. Once it happens its difficult to come out of it in 90's. So, naina realised that if she succumbs to this pressureshe will be doomed for life. Good that she is taking a strong step for herself. This would not have happened if chacha ji was present.

Lovely post Abida. The difference in Then and Now - how you brought it out is awesome. The kids have grown up and they are taking a stance, Bela chachi is love - what more to say about her.
