Hello!🤗Am not an active member of this forum, but once upon a time i use to be an ardent follower of the show!😳
Today after a long time, i saw the episode and BOOM! The story has PROGRESSED very REALISTICALLY, i must say! Maybe, one of the rare shows on television i have seen, where there is no extra camera angles on every character's face or unnecessary loud bg music etc etc!😆 Its such a bliss to watch a SIMPLE, REAL CONTENT DRIVEN show! More power to it!👏
The reason i felt like posting today, was today's episode ofc! I loveddd the PICTURIZATION they did, of the most awaited moment of the show! Very subtly!😳
But more than the story, the thing which affected me more was behaviour of naina's family towards her! Its said, 'FRIENDSHIP IS THE ONLY RELATIONSHIP, WHICH A PERSON CHOOSES, HIMSELF/HERSELF'!
But what happens, if the girl is misfortunate enough to be born in a family, who are worst than enemies!🥱 I am not saying this regarding to just the BEATING, that was wrong in itself, but what was more wrong, was GETTING HER MARRIED OFF to a WRONG GUY! The father was so blinded in his ego, that, not once did he think, THE REPURCATIONS of his ONE IMPLUSIVE ACT, and the girl's life is RUINED! The feminist in me, just couldn't help but empathise with girls like naina!💔
Also about the BEATING bit! I don't know, how much this VOILENCE use to exsist at that time, but it was looking less like a punishment and more like physical abuse to me!😲
I was Low-key hoping, naina would blurt something out in her defence to her father! She would stand up to herself!
I know, its not how this character is written, but that would have been such a STRONG evolution of the character! She feared all these years, that she would be weak infront of her family, when the time comes(in context to her love story) and she actually ending up facing her fear and SPEAKING sternly, would have been perfect! It would have completed one full circle! Even my feminist heart would have been satiated a little bit!😛😆
Also another thing i would like to pin point, is sameer's perspective! As it is a show and the protagonist is indeed shown as a HERO to his girl, his reaction was EXPECTED and APPRECIABLE too, no doubt!
But in the REAL WORLD, 99% guys are not SAMEER! They RUN AWAY when the time comes, subjecting the girl to marry some random guy or getting humilated for the rest of her life!
Coz, UNFORTUNATELY its the unsaid rule of indian society, 'THE GUY IS NEVER WRONG'! Not, in urban civilization much, but it does exsist in an invisible manner in every 2nd person's mind! So, yes, more power to guys like SAMEER in real world!⭐️
Also, i find it surprising, that a guy like sameer is disliked my people like taiji and tauji! Weren't they behaving like opportunists, when sameer had come to tend to arjun! Guess, ego overshadowed the greed today!😆Tell them to pinpoint one MAJOR drawback in sameer!😆 I wish the writers would have given ONE MAJOR REASON for rejecting sameer atleast!😆
